Hi, I got a few questions and appreciate answers.
1. Nokia Here. Can we upgrade it to Here+ and how much would it cost? 2. Whatapps. Any issue with this? Slow performance etc? 3. Any 3rd party internet browsers like Opera available? 4. Can you hook the phone to computer using wire/bluetooth and transfer files without the need for Zune etc? Just like what you can do with N8?
Thanks.

QUOTE(gxthelord @ Sep 9 2013, 01:50 PM) 1) I'm not quite sure with Here+ but Here does works well if you are not planning to use it overseas other than Malaysia I think. This need other sifu to confirm I need to know how much does it cost to upgrade HERE to HERE+ for the 720. Can someone having a 720 do this and find out for me? Thanks in advance. Settings > Navigation licence > upgrade now

QUOTE(lustman @ Sep 13 2013, 09:04 PM) screen protector, cheap type stylus pen and another one i think is a adapter for car charger, also cheap type, that's all No rubberized backside cover to stop slipperiness of the backside? When I got the N9, they came with one which prevented me dropping it several times. And what's the stylus pen for? And no cover? This post has been edited by Optiplex330: Sep 14 2013, 07:11 AM

QUOTE(lustman @ Sep 14 2013, 08:33 AM) nothing, nada, zip, zilch that's why they can sell cheap at RM799, if they bundled with other stuffs then the price will be higher, i dont think u can get this price anywhere else, the cover u can buy separately for $30-40 bucks, btw the stylus pen is just for fun The No.1 worries I have is, there are quite a few reports about 720 phone crashing/hanging and auto re-booting.

QUOTE(thesun @ Sep 18 2013, 03:11 PM) basically the same among all wp phones: email: so so only sms: no problem. 3310 oso can do. whatsapp: nowadays no issue, but still cant attach recorded videos files. Its limited by wp API. other than that no problem. Live recording no problem. Only if want to share funny videos to fren cannot. I am still using N8. What I dislike are N8's handling of email. Some emails could be in the outbox for days sitting there and going nowhere. To see some incoming emails, it would show "retrieving" for 5 minutes just to retrive some simple text. In one word, unreliable. I have done delete email/re-create email, soft boot, hard boot, factory reset etc What I like is a widget of email showing a couple of new emails with header. So how does 720 email handling compares? Thanks This post has been edited by Optiplex330: Sep 18 2013, 03:37 PM

Question on compass for pedestrian navigation.
I tried a friend's 520 and it doesn't work. Does the 720 has proper compass for pedestrian navigation?

Hi, I read some 720 has the habit of auto-shut down and auto-reboot. I also read that it's WP8 problem and not hardware. So has anyone having this problem before had it fixed with Amber updates?

QUOTE(sixshot @ Oct 1 2013, 08:56 PM) guys question about battery life.. 1. data always on (3G) 2. location always on 3. browsing/fb/whatsapps 1+ hours per day 4. no background task except whatsapp 5. no games/utube 6. battery saver on only when battery is low, screen brightness set to low. battery last around 24-25 hours. is that normal? Also depends on how strong is the Telco signal. If underground car parking with poor signal, sure not the same.
