Just to share with those who want to update but yet have no idea the steps so far I've been trying is just download the Nokia Software Updater for Retail V3.0.8 in my post above and just install it.
Upon launching it will detect ur Lumia 720 and just hit download. Guess now I just need to wait while everything is done smile.gif Using slow P1 Wimax so yeah sad.gif

Guys,

I really like Lumia 720. But i cant decide between 720 and 625?

I kept asking myself, do i really need a good camera in exchange of a bigger screen size and LTE phone??

I really like big screen like 625 because of better internet browsing experience.

Does 720 photo quality is very noticable compared to 625?

Argh, sometimes i just want to give up and take 520 instead and save money for something else.

Hope u guys can help me

if me I would go with the 720 as why pay another hundred plus more when it is not much difference under the hood. However if u think that the large screen does helps u in anyway and your budget is ok do go with it. However don't just take my words, go to a store and do a side by side comparison and let yourself decide then. smile.gif

Personally use 720, and compared with 625 demo unit. 625 has same resolution but bigger screen. Hence, images and texts appear to be less sharp.

3G is enough for casual browsing. Battery drain fast enough in 3G, so with 4G probably not worth it.

Photo quality, i compare between 720 and 520. 625 camera would be around the same as 520. 720's 6.7 MP is considerably sharper and nicer than 520. Of course, it is not really noticeable when viewing using the phone screen, but in 625's bigger screen, it might.

If i were you, i'd still go for 720 due to the price difference. Plus, 720 has HD front camera. biggrin.gif Plus, the budget is just nice.

Do test it for yourself in Nokia stores.

Thanks you.

The main reason why i like a big screen phone is because my hands are huge (but im not overweight lol), i was a Samsung Corby 2 user before it died and it is so small compared to my my hands. And now it's dead and this time i should get a bigger phone! Was considering L620 but the phone is small too.

I played with 720 the one whole day last week and i really like it a lot.

Good design, great display (outstanding black and white and contrast), and very fast.

However, i havent play with 625 or 520 yet, maybe i need to go to phone shop to make a decision.

The 520 can claim RM200 rebate at Celcom for RM350 (very tempting offer)

These are the price comparison

L520 - RM450 or RM350 after rebate
L625 - RM780
L720 - RM800

hmm.gif

Hmm~~ I think if u want to buy from store the L625 would be much expensive which I can't comprehend ._." The other day when I was at the store the guy told me it was for RM999 which dosen't match up for what it is payed for. doh.gif
If it is cheaper than L720 then yeah go for it, why not. smile.gif Performance wise L625 is a little better 1.2Ghz but camera wise L720 would be better ^^
I also was thinking of getting 520/620 at first but when I was at the store the 720 really caught my attention with the slim design and it really felt good. and now it end up as my baby XD
Neways try around see the L625 is big enuff for u or not, for me its kinda wide and hard to operate single handly sad.gif

Why no one ever mentioned battery life is one of the best thing of L720? It blew my mind when I downgrade my phone from S3. No regrets, at all.

Hey guys, after nearly 2.5 months of using Lumia 720, I discovered that my speaker is faulty. When I make voice calls, the recipient's voice breaks and gets distorted. I don't know if I am the only one facing this issue?

Sent to Nokia Service Centre last week. Boy, why does it take so darn long to replace a faulty speaker?
