i managed to scout a second hand Lumia920 that was price at 1470 today. i really2 eager to buy it.but there are something in my mind that hold me from buy it :

can it is fake lumia?
how to determine wether it is ori or ap?
what things to check before buy 2nd hand lumia?

There are no fake Windows Phones; Windows phone as an OS needs to be licensed from microsoft so knockoff phone makers cant make fake windows phones, unlike Android which is a free open-source OS which anyone can use.

iOS is also limited to iPhone only, but u see fake iPhones - but they run Android, not iOS. If there is such a thing as fake lumia it should be running android, maybe with a windows phone-like skin. But Android always has that 3 buttons below - the task manager, home, back button instead of the windows button.

Eh, i add the words into the keyboard if it doesnt exist; nowdays i type halfway for words like 'imouto' (younger sister), 'kusotare' (you piece of sh!t, or d!ckhead) also it will suggest it as the first one. Godly word suggestion, very accurate...

idk why, i dint like auto keyboard..

I see; I upgraded from a 3.5 inch touch phone, extra 1 inch typing really different lor, can type very fast... I really dunno how ppl with big hands cant chat and message on the iPhone comfortably...

Hahahaha! Yeap the word correction/suggestion system rocks. What you add will be suggested 1st so I added all my local slang in like 'bah', 'meh', 'leh', 'liau'

Also if you didn't notice the word flow system on the keyboard, it's darn good in suggesting the NEXT word you might want to type. This is similar to SwiftKey on Android.

Practice more & I can assure you, you'll love the auto keyboard.

same... i upgrade from 3.2inch on 5800xm to 4inch motorola atrix 4g then finally L920.... big difference in typing... less mistake... that autocorrect working good too... i type faster in L920 than i was in Motorola Atrix 4G...

malaysia is RM-821 APAC version ....
Pre Portico firmware number will be 1232.2109.1242.1002
Potico will be 1232.5951.1249.1007
post portico with gdr2 update will be 1232.5957.1308.8

what to check? check for defect lor... camera, led, touch screen responsivenes, scratches etc... the usual cheeck i guess... only problem is whether the phone is ori or ap and if it still under warranty...

ap service by local store.... ori service by any Nokia Malaysia branches.... if im not mistaken... RM-821 is like L920 model number. there also RM-820 L920 but that is for US market if not mistaken. and im not sifu... noy yet... lol..
