my suggestion.. buy from shop without contract.. lumia 920 retail price 1999 while outside can get lower. rebate only can be used with retail price.. ;(

yeah but don't get your hopes too high as the stock.. might end up very very limited or not to be restocked at all

Can the RM200 rebate be used on Nokia Lumia 920?

Seems like it's not available in the list of smartphones for the rebate.

3 basic things i want the most - notification center, X button to close apps in task manager, and file manager.

Android's notification center is a pull down from the top, for windows phone, i think it'd be nice to be a right swype (and just like the home screen, u can scroll through up and down). It would also be nice if the notification center has some live tile look (instead of just lists of words)  and connectivity shortcuts on top. Now home screen only have left swype, no right swype. Just borrow some idea from Meego with the swype gestures.

No, Nokia Music has something similar to Pandora where you can download mixes for offline listening. It's totally free so you can download up to 4 mixes (1 mix has I think 30 songs or somthing like that). This supposedly is limited to North America & Europe but I managed to get it 2 months ago (dunno how, I just did). Yesterday it was gone ....

Bought a casing from Nokia store in pavilion...last cover, grey colour...now i can switch from yellow to grey or grey to yellow...gardens and LYP all sold out...well at least the wireless charging stand seems to be back in stock...

Erm i have the same problem, on my black lumia ( really sad ...i got it without using a case...and since it was really bothering me ...i decided to get a case so that i dont see it hahah...but still the fact that its there and cant be removed saddens me

yesterday i went queensbay also same my frenz go queensbay buy lumia 920 and they sold with 1 set with a viva casing total RM2199!my frenz ask for cc1043 casing they dont have also

On that note, what does everyone think of those hp shop imposing additional 2%/3% charges on credit card? I can understand small hp stalls do that, but even official shop like Nokia (talking abt that Gurney branch) doing that....

it's ok ...i have done on my friend lumia and myself ..no problem ...make sure you got enough battery to run the installer  and flash correct ROM

and when flashing ..u actually plugin your usb cable ...and finish in less than 2 minutes ..senang je       

You mean the chinese characters goes screwed up, i have this problem with Japanese and Korean, and it only happens to some of them, which is weird. For example, see these 6 pics below, all of them were in Japanese words but some would appear properly, some becomes messed up (bottom row). My guess is that, the words being typewritten with different keyboards (half width or full width katakana, hiragana, etc) has an effect on it. For chinese im not so sure. Note that i do have Chinese, Japanese and Korean language installed in my phone keyboard.

happen to me too, all Chinese / Japanse kanji become messy so i used MP3Tag to rearrange all my album, no need to retype the title just drag drop all the songs to mp3tag save the whole ablums, my kanji words reappear. 
but your album will look messy, appear wrong characters..

Background Artist Photo can be download using MPATools while each Album photo can be asign using MP3Tag

btw lumia data usage already low...

if use default fb interface,whatsapp then really good on data.....
for browsing i recommend UC browser tough sometimes on high memory website appears "not enough memory" warning on the browser
