why it went to the care centre? what problem happened? as far as what ive tried, you can only restore your data when you first start the 920 after a reset only. but iinm, it will use mobile data to download app listings and contacts. later when it wants to download the apps and others, you can choose to switch to wifi.

Ok thanks man. I gt screen flickering, phone brick during hard reset, unable to switch off phone on brick only switch off when battery is all drained.

Nokia care say they change the screen and motherboard and freaking take 1 month to do it.

At the rate this is going.... It would be May 2014 before Portico arrives... Just curious since the market already has black, red, yellow portico 920s, can't the firmware of those devices be pushed to non-Portico 920s? If not does it mean those 920s with Portico in the market right now are beta versions?

The problem here is we are in the dark as to who is the party that is holding the portico release. Based in process of elimination, it cannot be Microsoft since they have released to the OEM/ODM, it cannot be Nokia as they have it on the newer batch. It seems to be the Telco is the culprit......

Should not be Telco. Most of the Lumia 920 are telco independent. Should be slow snail, turtle, Nokia Malaysia.

screen flickering... i sent to nokia care... they say jz got dust... n clear it only.. after take back home... same.. no fix at all... jz now ask my cousin see got flickering ornot... he say only whn open camera than only see that..bt me in normal already see it... that is my eye problem or screen problem...

I thought it was mentioned elsewhere in the thread that updating via Nokia update retailer will not void the warranty as the service center also use the same method to update the phone?

Some of the weather apps are really nice, but if i can look out of my window by just turning my head sidewards i dont see a need for installing one LOL. But if i travel a lot, esp overseas then it would be helpful.
