really depends on how the marketing guys wanna spin it.
they could let top developers become their affiliate so of course with T&C all their trade secrets remain as trade secrets.

touchwiz will always be standard on every new phone.
then 6 months after the model launch they can make available as online download only via official samsung website the "lite" version.

since they like to rehash their old hardware into new products (Galaxy S -> S Plus -> S Advance -> Ace -> S3 Mini)
it would definitely make their phones faster than running bloatware touchwiz (no wonder they need the fastest processors)  doh.gif

That, I think, will lead us to the situation where Sony and Motorola are in now...comes with locked bootloader !!!! You can unlock it either for a fee or via some kind of one-time request for unlock after which you can never revert to the locked situation again, and you will likely have waived your right to warranty.

That's untenable for me. I'd be fine with root access and a cooked ROM or freezable stock apps.

So they increase the screen size without increasing g the device size... hmm.gif I wonder do they implement some kind of palm detection on it or not... Thin bezel can be very troublesome especially with a big device coz it will register palm as a touch at the edge of the touch screen. I get this quite often with my S3. It does happen to menu and back button also. This happen a lot and some time it can be very irritating and happen almost every time when u r using ur phone with 1 hand and u need to get ur thumb to the other edge of the screen

S3 screen is what makes it fun. Changing to Note2 make me feel like screen not responsive less sensitive.

You sure your Note II was genuine? Note II screen responsiveness 100% confirmed better than S III.

I seem to have chosen the wrong word to describe. It should be sensitive than responsive.

That should clear the confusion. Smoothness of course is better on Note 2 with its bigger ram capacity. It's just that on S3, it registered even the slightest touch. Just a personal preference.

Supercurio aka francois simond aka voodoo project creator, tweeted that S4 uses very high spec wolfson micro WM5102 but samsung set the sound to default at 48kHz whereas normal sounds are at 44.1kHz so it will be upsampled

Too bad the speakers are placed behind the phone which many ppl complain it is too awkwardly placed just like the nexus 4. Your plam have covered the speakers hole almost completely.

Unlike the htc one which place it's dual frontal stereo speakers in front of the phone.

i agree. putting speaker in front of the phone or dual speaker beside of the phone definitely will make more ppl go buy the phone since the sound effect will be far better!

I mentioned this before:

Qualcomm S600 - native built-in audio DAC in Krait https://twitter.com/supercurio/status/312378336972242944
Exynos 5 Octa - WM5102 Wolfson audio DAC (http://www.wolfsonmicro.com/products/audio_hubs/WM5102/)
