Samsung hit the wall already... LOL

I don't know about you guys, do feel a certain level of disappointment here seeing all these consolidation going on with Android flagship phones.

Everyone just going 5" 1080P, Snapdragon 600. Time to yawn...

Woo..TS still haven't update the specs on 1st page..?
Octa overheating...lolz

Overheating? Maybe, maybe not. Power draw is a serious problem with A15 though. I doubt it will ever make it into phones with 32nm. Anandtech has shown that its peak power draw was 8w (and its only dual core, let alone a quad) and then it will throttle itself to 4w. Double or triple Krait 200 power draw. Now with Krait 300, it's gonna be even worse comparison. Even Nvidia resort to A9 in Tegra4 for phones.

ZTE just announced Snapdragon 800 equipped Grand Memo. Will it put a dent in Samsung S4 launch?

Its just getting a little boring lately. Seem like anyone also had 5inch full hd screen, everyone also had Snapdragon 600, 13MP camera etc...

Android is consolidating... Its unbelievable.

technology and refreshes is moving too fast

my S3 still feel quite new (bought it on may last year on launching) and now S4 is out. duno whether time flies fast or what doh.gif
for S4....i don't think samsung will go with snapdragon proc, maybe just for certain US carrier specific models. if they go with snapdragon for their flagship then what's the point of their exynos proc? My guess would be a Exynos 5 quad or the Exynos 5 Octa. As for the screen type rumour, i do hope it comes with SoLux screen instead of S.AMOLED HD, or a S.AMOLED+ HD is welcomed as well.
anyway i promised myself not to get any smartphones this year (upgrading comp as top priority). but still hope samsung can be at the top of the competition.

Don't be silly. It's quite apparent that A15 won't be ready for smartphone.

They should name it Dual Quad Core... Its a shame that an OCTA can only work 4 of its 8 cores at any given time.

2 x 4 = 8 but in this case.. 2 x 4 =4

hi 5...i also took note 2 than S4 n man that was the most correct decision i ever took in my entire life time laugh.gif rclxms.gif

Just wait 5 months for FHD AMOLED and A15 is more worth unless you need the SPEN which not many are actually using it. Not to mention now it can be used as remote. Controlling your house appliances with your S4.

Come on...

Apple has 3GS, and 4S.

Samsung also can... They called it S IV but in your heart, just treat it as S IIIS.

Sakai... Samsung  Galaxy S plus And SII plus la
*
No wonder nobody here replied you.

All you do is shouting. If you really are Samsung fans, you should at least know all those Plus and Mini has lower spec than the original. Plus does not mean more.

The S at the back denote same design with hardware upgrade like Apple did. It's just a joke anyway.

so fast got unbox video ?
yet, s3, note 2 and s4 also not using Super AMOLED plus screen right ?
whether it is using PenTile, RGB or other, I not really care about it since I can't saw the difference at all
*
It's definitely Pentile. This one has special arrangement though. Pentile only sucks in video or any images with dark background.

S3 screen is what makes it fun. Changing to Note2 make me feel like screen not responsive less sensitive.

And what makes you think that yeur comment is relevant on this S4 thread?
*
Nothing. Just saying I prefer highly sensitive screen.

QUOTE(eszol @ Mar 24 2013, 10:44 AM)
1st time i heard people comment s3 screen responsiveness better than gn2
*
QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 24 2013, 11:38 AM)
Seriously Note 2 is very, very , very  much more smoother and responsive vs S3
*
QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 24 2013, 12:17 PM)
You sure your Note II was genuine? Note II screen responsiveness 100% confirmed better than S III.
*
I seem to have chosen the wrong word to describe. It should be sensitive than responsive.

That should clear the confusion. Smoothness of course is better on Note 2 with its bigger ram capacity. It's just that on S3, it registered even the slightest touch. Just a personal preference.

l understand that Exynos with quad A15 might be better, but are you guys worried that it might come with slower updates being the least popular version.
