If pro PH, better hope this is good, else this will be really a one time government when institutions like TH, PNB and KWAP had to be "helped by government" while EPF contributors is "abandoned".

It'll be around 5.5% or something. EPF can't give better returns than ASB, simply for political mileage.

I just started last year. Only knew about this last year, but I wished that I discovered it earlier.

EPF dividend is daily rest. If deposited on 2 Jan 2020, then you will get 364/365 for 2020's year dividend.

ASX is monthly rest.

unless for those that really want to squeeze every little interest out of their money, then they would deposit (self-contribute) towards the end of the month rather than at the beginning since they can park their money in a money market fund to earn extra interest,.....
for the Jan's deposits will just earn 1 day dividend no matter when within the Jan month
