I dont think they will break the 6%. Anything lower will be very negative perception of EPF. Many more will move out their funds to elsewhere as it will cause some panic. Hoping its nothing below 6%.

Hoping its nothing below 6%. but epf lost abit of money also 2016...naming a few they have to cut loss in FGV end of november..that alone quite sizeable chunkif EPF manage to pay more than 6% i reckon they will dip into their reserve fund...anyway hopefully thats not the case lor.. |

Putrajaya is studying the proposal to re-introduce the withdrawal scheme from the EPF to purchase computers, saying it would benefit the people, The Star reported.
However, the retirement fund is against this, reiterating that EPF savings should be used to finance a member’s post-retirement needs, the retirement fund has reiterated. http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...hase-computers/ EPF kowtow to Putrajaya demands? |

Computer also no money to buy .. its to do with people's purchasing power very low. Already so low, then savings also super low, then now go and kacau the savings some more.
Better use their otak to see how to increase peoples income better la, rather than spend now and decrease people's savings. |

Sorry some dumb ques.
Let say a person have 100k in EPF account So account 1 = 70k, and acc 2 = 30k. Then withdraw 30k from acc 2 for house/ptptn/education etc. Balance account 1 = 70k, acc 2 = 0 Or Balance account 1 = 70k *70% = 49k Account 2 = 21k |
