An extract from the article in hour note : EPF held nearly RM2 billion bonds in 1MDB as at March 2015 while Tabung Haji bought a parcel of land from 1MDB’s Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) project for RM188.5 million. - See more at: http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysi...h.4TZfRIls.dpuf

Has 1MDB been servicing the coupon payments for EPF ? That's part of our retirement sum too.

maybe there's some delay in announcing EPF dividend because they're in process bringing back the money from overseas hmm.gif

so I guess it's after CNY blush.gif

Bringing back the money does not delay the dividends calculation. Just netting off your expenses against income and then decide whether to take some from buffer or add more to buffer.

Hmm...

Today my whole company received an email with the kwsp for attached for those who want to maintain 11% contribution.

I'm now considering whether to go ahead with 8%, and use the 3% in my home loan (4.65% interest), or perhaps other investment vehicles.

I believe strongly that RM1 in hand is worth RM2 in EPF. Coz i may not live long enough to use any of it...

I also got the 17A Form. HR people discourage to do because GST still eat the money while we spending doh.gif

Form fill up already, not yet submit. Need to think wisely.

Tabung Haji announces 6.25pct dividend, 5pct bonus

Wah, they can still give so much when the reserve/book is in RED?

What were their rates for the past 3 years?

So 6.25% for EPF as well?

Ha.

P/S

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will declare a respectable rate on its dividends for 2015, says Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Investment) Mohamad Nasir Ab Latif.
The announcement will be made after Chinese New Year, he told reporters at a media briefing here today.
However, he was tight-lipped on the exact quantum.
The EPF declared a higher dividend of 6.75 per cent for 2014, compared to the 6.35 per cent announced for 2013.
