It has to go in tandem with the drops in other financial instruments in Msia. I am confident that EPF will NOT give something same as last year. It will be deemed as 'spoiling the market'.

As long as it is > 4.5%, considered good already. Always target EPF will only give 4.5% and anything above that, considered as bonus.
Other than EPF, government's AS*, there won't be any instrument that can consistently give you 4.5% of return each year.

1952 - 1959 is still in "learning" process.

and also 1952 is before independence. economy that time not so good 

guys, i know it's going to declare sometime next month, anyone know exactly which day? 

If dividend above 6%, still worthwhile to top up. Otherwise just let it be.

The dividend better not be below 5% best is above 6%

judging from the current economy situation, it's gonna be 5.25%...

company contribute EPF on 26 DEC 2015.. when i go to check on 31DEC 2015.. i can see the contribution for 26th DEC 2015...

i guess suppose to see 26th DEC 2015 contribution only on JAN 2016?

quite confusing..

My HR and Accounts department opined to maintain status quo at 11% because:

I) They don't want the extra work to change this and that

II) They said is only a short term thing (21 mths).

III) 3% drop is actually not a lot for low salary. Most of the small wage owner will get less than RM 100 extra in their pocket. For larger wage owner, they don't f3cking care that extra 3% in their pocket.

maybe there's some delay in announcing EPF dividend because they're in process bringing back the money from overseas

so I guess it's after CNY
