what?  GE insurance payment should be 5% rebate
*
I think... That's GE Titanium card not this OCBC Titanium... It is 2% and not 5%.

My agent also asked me if I were using that when I registered my OCBC Ti for my insurance auto-billing. smile.gif

actually up till now, my question remain unanswered:
1.  Can I pay using my Ocbc titanium card thru online to GE insur?
2.  Is the payment consider as 5% rebate?
*
1. Yes though I haven't tried yet.
2. No, it is not included in any of the 5% rebate category. So, it is only 1%.

Why, I thought every of payment is 5%, some more GE belong to OCBC!

doh.gif Your assumption is absolutely wrong. doh.gif
Only groceries, petrol, telco bills and dining are 5%. The rest is 1%.

There is GE Titanium Card and it is not even 5%, only 2%. whistling.gif

Not only OCBC la, all the banks. I think it is the requirement from BNM.
Unless your salary is directly credited to the bank, it may still be considered.

Previously , i apply cc.
They just need to fotocopy my other bank cards..

This is new policy?
*
When was that?
I got my Maybank2Card automatically by Maybank because my salary is credited to Maybank every month.
Despite that, I will still need to provide all the required documents for my OCBC Titanium application.

My last credit card was RHB, they came to our factory end of 2011. That time was before they implement what waht salary below 3k can only have 2 credit cards or something policy.
*
I think the policy took effect in Jan 2011. I mean the below 3k policy. smile.gif
I might be wrong though.

No, it is not. It doesn't fit into any of the 5% categories. So, that's not going to happen. smile.gif
Unless you can find a petrol station that can capture TnG reload as part of "petrol" transaction.

I'm not a bro by the way.

I know a Petronas which accepts CC for TnG with 1% surcharge

And it has 5% rebate? biggrin.gif

I better stick to TnG Hub KL Sentral, 1% is better than nothing. laugh.gif
At least it has no extra surcharge for credit card. biggrin.gif

Guys, how many months of payslip does OCBC need? So even if my annual salary meets the requirement, do i get approved 100%?
*
Not really and I must say the chances of being rejected is pretty high. smile.gif
I was rejected once and approved after that. smile.gif
Yes, met the salary requirement. Much more than the RM 36k per annum actually.

OCBC Celebrity Fitness, CF - Midvalley

I called the OCBC customer service, the MCC code was 5968 and it is only getting a rebate of 1%. The agents can actually see what is the rebate we are getting from the system.
*
hmm.gif You had the perception that it should be 5%?
Why is that?
It doesn't fall into any of the 5% categories.

Mine is auto-billing and you will not get 5% only 1%.
I think this has been discussed before, even GE Titanium Card only gives 2% and not even 5%.

I know but I didn't get it.
I just checked via their helpline and stated my application got approved, but not a single sms about it smile.gif

Once you receive the SMS, that means your card has already sent out.
That's my own experience. When I received the SMS, my card was already sent out a day before it.
