this is one of the confusion of buying console with region thingy.
so it is lock like ps3 region thingy is it? only can buy game from that available on the region?

i bought my ps3 from sony center (feel safer with the warranty and all)
so for 3ds, is there any official shop? or shud i buy it from errrrrrr maybe heavy arm....

This is not like PS3 at all. While PS3 games are region free, 3DS games are not region free.
Buy Asia set or US set then you can play games from US region and Asia.
Japan/European games will be none playable though.

The store(online store0 or also known as eshop you can choose base on your location.
If you choose Malaysian address, there is like nothing at all in the eshop.
So i'd recommend going for US address so that your eshop will be filled with the latest games and deals.

No Nintendo official shop here. Yeah why not Heavy Arm is good, or from Kyo, Pbbseller and others.

Duh.. tipu of course. No harm done.
Should go for Alaska or Oregon address to avoid online taxing.

To be more specific. I just bought my 3DS XL , about 2 months ago and there is no more Super Mario 3DLand game at the shop that I have discovered.
Really need that game.

Someone please help me guys ...I dunno how to make my decision.I want to play 3ds title games.Firstly I thought I want to buy 2ds coz its cheapo.But to think again,there's no accessories available for 2ds...what I supposed to do.Coz nowadays its really hard to purchase 3ds (I mean the new one)

I think he meant with pouch, decal or case, you know like pokemons one. But yeah, 2ds is a bit big in term of it cant be fold.

Coz of 2ds form factor,and unpopularity of nintendo product around my area (klang) so its hard to take a look around and test it (for comparison).maybe i'll go ahead with 2ds then...and then if i got enuf budget i'll go ahead with Xtra Large one...is it okay?

3ds is everywhere. it easy to find.

If you don't mind buying online, a lot of sellers on Lowyat forums offer cheaper prices for 3DS XL than the shops around Klang Valley... if you're worried about not being able to deal face to face, SOME sellers can even meet up with you to deal.
