Oh yeah btw guys, the d600 dust issue is in every model or just a large percentage?
Is it possible to test it out in the shop? Heard alot of people getting frustrated at Nikon not correcting the problem. |

QUOTE(Decky @ Mar 3 2013, 08:26 PM) Oh yeah btw guys, the d600 dust issue is in every model or just a large percentage? As far as I know, its a VERY LARGE percentage. Is it possible to test it out in the shop? Heard alot of people getting frustrated at Nikon not correcting the problem. Not possible, it doesn't come up until some hundreds of shots are taken. And when it does, it does so quite abruptly by showing up on left corners even when you shoot at f5.6. QUOTE(Pro3363 @ Mar 3 2013, 09:23 PM) The D3200 doesn't have an AF motor, so if you are planning on getting a 50mm, the 1.8g (with motor) would be the better pick, unless if you prefer manual focusing If used on a body with an AF motor, the 1.8G should focus slightly faster and quieter than an 1.8D |

QUOTE(Pro3363 @ Mar 3 2013, 09:23 PM) I had the 50 1.8D and now got the 50 1.8GThe D has the same speed as the G in normal conditions. In lowlight I would say the G is a little bit better. If the D is used on stronger motorized bodies like D300/D700 or D3/D4 which has an AF screw which is faster than d90 etc..., maybe the 50 1.8D focuses faster... but definitely the 50 1.4D focuses faster on stronger motorized slr/dslr bodies. 50 1.4G is slow on whatever body because it depends on the motor in the lens. |
