I am currently using Unifi VIP5. So far watching youtube is okay, most of the time no log/buffering. But once a while, I do get occasional lag/buffering in watching youtube.

Just wondering, if I upgrade to VIP10, is there a significant or noticeable difference in speed in watching youtube? VIP10 is RM50 extra per month, just want to ask if the (actual) speed increase in watcing youtube would justify it.

anyone encounter the when HYPP TV machine is turned on, the internet connection straight slow like hell?

is that need to enable the secondary connection or what?

Guys i installed unifi on 23 May and today 16 Jun i receive the bil total amount Rm274.. can i know how come they charge so high? i tot it was rm150?

appereantly is Hi-Fi magnetic field too strong.

if not mistaken first time need pay 2 months advance for that. i also like that
if you look closely they charge 2 months one.

any router that supports unifi and has a much further range than the stock router? wanna extend the range but also want to try and avoid range extenders cause it had caused me some problems before.

Guys, I've just subscribe to VIP5 last month. Yesterday I received an email from TM says that I need to pay RM269.55 for "One Time Charges" and "Recurring Charges".

I thought TM is having promotion now for free installation and free 1 month subscription? Why am I being billed with this kind of ridiculous amount of money.

Anyone have details on the "great savings" that they are referring to? no TM point around my area + can't really call to enquire during office hour

Just called to inquire a minutes ago basically there are 2 options

Option 1, Upgrade from your existing bandwidth to a higher bandwidth with RM 20 discount applicable throughout your tenure until you terminate however the catch is that there will be a contract extension of 2 years... am about to fulfill my contract next month actually.

Option 2, Upgrade from your existing bandwidth to a higher bandwidth without discount but they allow you to choose one of the RM 30 video package for free. Again contract extension of 2 years apply.

Not really appealing to me cause my 5 MB seems to be enough for me... and I hate the fact that they only give warranty to your equipment for the first 1 year... should do it like streamyx whereby the warranty is forever.

Will TM replace the hardware for free if we opt to take the offer #1 with 2 yrs contract? My contract expired and i m thinking to cancel unifi and reapply later for new hardware and free 1 month fee.

I think for existing VIP20 users, you will get the HyppTV pack for free...
