NO need to show receipt. They identify your warranty through the serial number. I claim free motherboard replacement and subsequently given a new set without even bringing/showing my receipt. My first set I bought directly from Google USA and ASUS M'sia still will honour the warranty

Yeap, I survey lots of places, most of the places sell Nexus 7C for RM1099. I got one friend selling for RM1050. And Satu Gadget is selling for RM999.

SenQ in my area sell for RM699. Its not display unit, I can confirm that. Because at SenQ here, got their own display unit, got one display unit there for customers to see and touch.

The RM699 one got a few more stocks, around 3 units only.....all sealed nicely...when i buy my unit, the salesperson at SenQ need to cut the outside seal, and the inside box, the black sexy box, got another tight seal, he use penknife to cut...inside the black box, the nexus 7c is nicely wrapped with the standard Asus transparent wrapper

Btw, I think only in my area here in Miri Sarawak, the SenQ sell for RM699 for Nexus 7C...its under "stock clearance" section.

Not price drop....its still rm1099 at other places...RM600 can buy second hand only haha...but my one is stock clearance, first hand unit and good condition haha

BTW guys, the RM699 one is for SenQ members and stock clearance. Try find at SenQ at your area...might have same stock clearance promotion..

bro sad to tell you mine is still having the same problem. I'm pushing them to refund to me. The technician telling me: already compare to another nexus 7 and same consumption.

do they change your motherboard or battery?my problem solve when they change those components. so did u manage to get refund?i have asked the reception counter, she said that lot of people send in their N7 for various problem..sad to hear that..asus should perform better

Ah there's a wrong step in this one. Actually you must hold power button and TAP on the left side of your nexus 7 in portrait.

For those Nexus 7 that cannot be turn on (powered on) after their battery died or something.

After several months, my rooted N7 slowed down. Slower than a Galaxy Nexus. Read many reports that Asus opt for low quality flash memory chips. No fix other than selling it away.

Once a week I ran LagFix which improved the situation a bit. But after few days or sometimes hours, back to square one.

I will avoid all Asus products for now. It is back to Samsung or Sony products. Too bad Tablet Z no 7" version. Sure sell like hot cakes.

yupp..lately i also face the same thing..my N7 start to lag and sometimes kinda annoying..feel cheated by asus sometimes -.-

I just tested Sony Tablet Z in SenHeng two days ago. Although the nett weight is higher than N7, the feeling on hand was totally different! The Tablet Z felt much lighter...probably due to the weight/volume ratio!
