Used to owned it before,it was smooth and light,I also like the size,many developer options,but I experience some problem last time such as screen flickering,battery dead like 50% like that,dead pixels,screen loosen,some part no screw,and some other defects,but for the price,i can't really expect much

my PRIME rom still running strong. lag usually caused by overloaded memory/storage. get a memory booster. set it to autoboost everytime the screen locked.

btw if any of u get laggy, please check the availaible storage and leave it more than 20%, if not, u will get lag.
last time i got lag when the storage almost full, then i reformat, and only install usefull apps only. now its perfectly working fine without lag. even browsing much better

I also dont know why nexus 7 lags with low storage,my nexus 4 doesn't even lag even with low storage,i guess tegra 3 cant really support low storage,before i sell,i clear all data with sdcard,after that lag gone also,nexus 7 should've use snapdragon processor for more better experience

The processor has nothing to do with lag due to slow I/O. In fact, CPU and I/O are two totally contrasting resources. ;-)

BTW, any screen protector to recommend? The price range is so large...

I sat on my Nexus 7 this evening and the screen cracked.

Instead of sending my N7 to ASUS repair service, anyone knows cheap repair shops in KL which can replace my screen / digitizers?

anyone know where i can buy a replacement battery?
i'm guessing my battery is dead or something, so want to get a new one.

Everytime i try to charge it, it takes more than 12 hours to get to 95%, and a few hours later it completely discharges

I tried changing the cable, and it worked. but only once. after that full charge, using the same cable again made the same issue pop up.

I dont have a receipt for my device(as i bought it from my old company) so i don't think i can bring to Asus service center(eventhough it is a legit malaysian set)

can call in 1st, use S/N to track if registered under warranty. did u tried to c is it the battery cable loose?

better u bring it to asus SC..i have sent in my nexus 7 there twice and they never request for my receipt since they can track your device serial number at the bottom of the tab.

Yeah, tried to open it..battery seems fine-even pushed it in for good measure
