Even the overall value is lower than that of Nexus 7 IMO.

Take 32GB Nexus 7 WiFi-Only for RM820 from Newegg. Will take that N7 32GB anytime over Memopad.

It's not just about hardware. Software supported by Google is another aspect to be considered.

Can't wait so long... The release price itself is attractive enough. Don't really have to wait so long. 269USD for a 7" Full HD Display + S4 Pro/Snapdragon 600 is sufficient to blow all competitors out of water, especially those China Tabs!

Not to mention that 4GB RAM and 32GB Internal storage (referring to 32GB model)

The top and bottom bezel is reallllllllyyyyyy THICKKKKKKKKKK. Looks a bit weird when they cut down the side bezel thickness yet increased top and bottom bezel thickness. Looks out of proportion.

According to benchmark, in 3dmark, Nexus 7 v2 scored 7k+. Nexus 4 5k+, Nexus 7 v1 1.9k. I guess the GPU improvement should be A LOT!

The one in Nexus 4, only the band for Canada will work. Power amplifiers for other band not included.

Erm... But... All the device I mentioned are Nexus devices. They have plain vanilla android. So... The benchmark tells at least half of the story in terms of performance.

It's possible that they put more effort on optimization in 4.3 that the score is considerably higher, even than Nexus 4 running on 4.2 otherwise I believe it can be a higher clocked GPU that made those scores possible.

So... There's no bloatware in all these devices so it's actually very ok to compare them

Yes... everyone says take it with a pinch of salt but still everyone will look at it. Those review website also must run benchmark and post them up. It won't be totally meaningless. It tells the RAW performance of the phone. Just that a phone's RAW performance does not equal to its real life performance.

Looking at the announce video, the 1080p display looks awesome.

They're also guaranteeing 1 hour extra battery compared to Nexus 7 V1 although V2 has smaller battery with much higher pixel density. That's good!!!!

Gapps is google apps like Google+, PlayStore, Maps, Youtube, Calendar etc etc. Apps included depends on the gapps package.

You should flash both else you'll find something missing
