QUOTE(ilovestitch @ Dec 21 2013, 01:11 PM) just brought my baby to service this thursday, with ecu reset, now it has become 588km full tank, switch from shell to petron, hehe. I wonder if it is just a reading, and we might get different result in the actual fuel consumption. But thanks to all sifu for the tips sharing. I used to get indication around 550km too for a full tank. But since I drive within the city with terrible traffic jam. 400km with a full tank I considered lucky d. My average speed is only 19-21kmh. After a few visit to petrol station, the max mileage drop to around 440km with a full tank. I guess the ECU is learning my fuel consumption and update the on-board computer to reflect a more accurate data. A full highway drive can easily reach 600km @ 110kmh I reckon..

I am curious if anyone done tuning on gear ratio to get better fuel efficiency here. My friend told me that his colleague done a gear ratio tuning on her honda city. The gear ratio is fine-tune to a specific journey of road (ie: home to work) and manage to squeeze around 700km per full tank. The concept is like u fine-tune ur car so that it is best perform on a particular race track and only this track. Once u race on other track, the performance drop.

QUOTE(oimeng @ Dec 23 2013, 02:18 PM) thanks. which SC that you went for the replacement? Maybe i can try with that SC. I checked mine, is APM. Besides, just want to check with all. Do you hear any "ting ting" sound when you have stopped the car after drove for a period of time? The sound is like water drip on the steel plate. Mine have and it is quite clear to be heard. And I noticed this sound after the 1st service. How u check whether it is apm .
