2014 elantra is nice... But all add on are do able by aftermarket... Plus, hyundai have a trend to increase selling price every upgrade... With this features, i believe it will go beyond RM100k mark for 1.6HS and 120k mark for 1.8...
So if able to get massive discount for 2013 model, can go ahead! Anyway im happy with my 1.6 Standard auto... Getting car next week... 6.5k discount... Jz 85k... Lol! Lesser burden on wallet... This post has been edited by enghui1988: Dec 28 2013, 10:04 AM |

QUOTE(Nikmon @ Dec 28 2013, 11:02 AM) Seriously, every car have pros and cons... But for elantra built quality and comfort level, i dont mind traded abit of fuel consumption to upgrade from Vios... If compare to altis fc, elantra is comparable... So compare apple to apple... Most ppl compare C segment elantra with B segment Vios, City... Which is something not right...Anyway, choose a car you happy with is most important... Diff ppl have diff needs... Cheers! |

QUOTE(Nikmon @ Dec 28 2013, 07:59 PM) Then this is true... Anyway i dowan take up too much commitment and i dun speed much as i drive in city... End up i took 1.6 le... But if u drive more on highway, 1.8 give out more fun and better fc... Cheers... |

QUOTE(ilovestitch @ Dec 28 2013, 08:24 PM) could not agree more Haha... My family actually told me same story too.. As i already driving 08 vios, really feel want an upgrade... So the affordable elantra make it to top of my list! Seriously, cant be deny vios is good car... But reliability actually japanese brand is dropping abit while korean picking up alot... My vios do have fair share of issues after 6 year... So, korean is a good choice beside japanese nowadays... European still little expensive... Happy weekend! Cheers... |

But elantra fc not bad actually... Cant wait for my new car this week!Seriously love it very much, just pump my 1st fuel, RM 92 from 1 bar to full bar. the last petrol consumption (from car computer) is 588Km. now turn off ECO drive and see how. |

Got my new elantra 1.6GLS yesterday! FC not bad, can do 9.2km/l in city driving... 2013 elantra actually have active eco mode which when its on, throttle is reduce, thus not suitable for city driving as you need floor harder, you can turn it off... For highway, just turn it on!
To access the setting, press trip on ur steering till saw eco on, long press the reset button on steering wheel to off it and vise versa to turn it back on... Am really happy with my new ride! |

QUOTE(666devil @ Jan 2 2014, 12:25 PM) Haha... After 6 year usage, it do give me orchestra when going bumpy road... But i still will say vios is a good car but must price at below 80k la... New vios too boring and the price tag is increased abit... Unlike accord they do lower their price... Oops, im bit off topic...But on my 3rd day of ownership, i do like the elantra nvh... On par with many car above segment... Only the tyre noise abit loud? Anyone face this with stock nct-5? |
