2014 elantra is nice... But all add on are do able by aftermarket... Plus, hyundai have a trend to increase selling price every upgrade... With this features, i believe it will go beyond RM100k mark for 1.6HS and 120k mark for 1.8...

So if able to get massive discount for 2013 model, can go ahead!

Anyway im happy with my 1.6 Standard auto... Getting car next week... 6.5k discount... Jz 85k... Lol! Lesser burden on wallet... wink.gif

Hello mates, my fuel consumption report for HE 1.6hs right after 1000+km.
1st tank - not so sure cos the SA probably filled Rm20-30 for me. Fuel light up after 2 days
2nd tank - fill Rm80 last for 330km, Kl city + pj + subang area
3rd tank - fill Rm87 last for 460km, kl city + kampar
4th tank - fill Rm86 last for 355km, kl city
5th tank yet to know
Opinions: although the FC doesnt sounds good but 1 full tank can last me 10 days average daily 30km+ compare wit my previous kenari lasted 7-8days, of course full tank only Rm50

Personal views after a month+ owning this handsome!
What i love: The car is very spacious, sleek design, modern interior, big car boot - my wife love it when carry lot of baby stuff, low noise while driving.

Not so like: center air cond position not practical, pick up not so good

That are all I can think off nw

Seriously, every car have pros and cons... But for elantra built quality and comfort level, i dont mind traded abit of fuel consumption to upgrade from Vios... If compare to altis fc, elantra is comparable... So compare apple to apple... Most ppl compare C segment elantra with B segment Vios, City... Which is something not right...

Anyway, choose a car you happy with is most important... Diff ppl have diff needs...

Cheers!

i think the most obvious different between current model and 2014 model is air cond position and rear air cond

could not agree more rclxms.gif My family keep asking me to choose between nissan almera and vios. i was like sweat.gif Keep concerning about resale value and reliability. I plan to use it for long term, and i love it. So i just tongue.gif . I dun see almera has greater demand than elantra, i rather drive back my myvi (if nissan almera is the only choice). Vios dun like it too on the spec and build quality and design, and old engine somemore, need topup around rm3000 for the navigation system. doh.gif

Haha... My family actually told me same story too.. As i already driving 08 vios, really feel want an upgrade... So the affordable elantra make it to top of my list! Seriously, cant be deny vios is good car... But reliability actually japanese brand is dropping abit while korean picking up alot... My vios do have fair share of issues after 6 year... So, korean is a good choice beside japanese nowadays... European still little expensive...

Happy weekend! Cheers... wink.gif
