Placed my order for 1.6 HS creamy white (: nice to meet all of you. Any members here did their mod on cosmetic? Im planning to get rear diffuser and spoiler, then black out the colour of emblem and front frille.

Any members change to k&n filter once they get their car? Should i get my k&n filter after the first three service?

U will be surprised. Club member found out the noise is from wiper. I dunno how to resolve that. Change better low drag wiper?
*
but i didnt turn on my wiper movement =/ is just sitting still. this morning i noticed at 90km/h the wind noise suprising loud.. totally different from the test drive i had.. few years back when i first drove vios, i drove up to 140km/h without even noticing the speed compare to me driving myvi. but now driving a new elantra, at 90km/h the wind noise is almost the same as my myvi -.- kinda disappointed sigh but hopefully im just being sensitive..

waw... i still waiting my 1.8.
as u said, 42-44L can run 550 - 600km...
that is better than my current old kelisa which is 30-40L for 400-450km (80% city)
*
Depends on how heavy u step.. i dont even rev fast, only once awhile ppl tiong or cucuk me then i lowered gear n rev up to 6k rpm to dust ppl off.. but the fc is better than my myvi.. on the screen it shows 6.6l/100km - 7l/100km..

Seriously love it very much, just pump my 1st fuel, RM 92 from 1 bar to full bar.
the last petrol consumption (from car computer) is 588Km.
now turn off ECO drive and see how.
*
i thought the ECO is just an indicator that you are driving economically?

The 2011 model has an Eco light and has no effect on the car's operation. The 2012 model has an Eco mode that changes the throttle (gas pedal) mapping - making it slower to react to pedal movement, and changing the transmission shift points. Eco mode in the 2012 models is said to provide a fuel economy gain of a few percent.
My 2011 has the Eco light, and it's usually on all the time except at speeds below 5mph or when shifting manually (ShifTronic).

So you are correct - the 2011 model just has an Eco light that has no effect on the car. I tell passengers that when the light is on, the accelerator pedal isn't floored. That's about the extent of it.

And congrats on the purchase. It's a great car.

ON/OFF still no diff for me... i just slow slow pijak, it is still new, dun want masuk longkang biggrin.gif
*
lol.. mine 2013, it lights up when i m driving economically. but i am indeed going to ask SC to tune my gear ratio.. i dont like when at 2500 rpm also tukar gear.. feels underpowered.. rather back to 3000 rpm only change gear hehe

UR bars is a MUST for elantra (strut and anti-roll), it significantly solve the fishtail problem, yet it makes your car heavier.
for me buffer not really help, but its cheap tho, so no harm to install.
*
Actually what is this fishtail issue? I tried driving 120km/h..didnt notice anything

Any sifus installed the firestorm ignition coil booster to increase the acceleration speed? Does it really affect our spark plug lifespan or void warranty?
