QUOTE(oimeng @ Dec 19 2013, 02:37 PM) hi, i just had my first service done last week. Tried to get the absorber change at SC but got rejected since they don't detect any issue with absorber. Maybe due to i am not able to explain the issue clearly. In fact, curious to know how the fish tail issue feels like? How do you explain to the SC ? Which SC that you went for the replacement? Any picture on the spring buffer? Thanks. Just tell them the body roll until u headache, they will change for u but if your is original Kia Mando brand absorber i dont think they will change. Mine original is APM brand they didnt ask any question n straight order the parts n ask 2 come back within 1 week.

just brought my baby to service this thursday, with ecu reset, now it has become 588km full tank, switch from shell to petron, hehe. I wonder if it is just a reading, and we might get different result in the actual fuel consumption. But thanks to all sifu for the tips sharing.

Hi all sifus, wanna ask the bumber (front) of elantra got different version? like 2011 or 2013? The reason I ask is because I bought a DRL from TMALL but it cannot fit to my elantra. I asked the seller and he claimed the DRL is for 2013 model and mine is 2011 model. Any advise?

When the car is stop there is no such noise, if i press on the pedal, the noise come out, and it gets louder, when u press more on the pedal, as u release the pedal, the noise gradually disappear. when u press the pedal again , the noise come out again. It seems like Elantra 2014 will be launched in Australia in Jan 2014 and USA in Feb 2014.....wonder when it will be come to Malaysia by Sime Darby......For Australian version, they still maintained 1.8 version instead of 2.0.

Based on past slow Darby track record? 3 years later. Also expect price increase. Just like forte/cerato

I checked mine, is APM. Besides, just want to check with all. Do you hear any "ting ting" sound when you have stopped the car after drove for a period of time? The sound is like water drip on the steel plate. Mine have and it is quite clear to be heard. And I noticed this sound after the 1st service.
