This is not good....only affecting type A? I saw that type A1 also has a sliding door to the washroom.

Also, I was informed that the kitchen top will be different from the U-shaped one in showroom. It will be only be 1 short piece at the wall.
*
Not sure about Type A1 though. Yeah, we were told the kitchen cabinet is rather basic (and smaller) and not as per show unit

QUOTE(MoonRider @ Jul 31 2013, 09:15 AM)
went there yesterday .. SA say got someone just order 20 units .. i dont believe him hahahah..
i think the sliding is not included and kitchen kabinet is small portion .. i hink you need to ask properly before you sign S&P ..
*
We did asked the sales rep specifically about the sliding door (because it was a good idea - what they did for the show unit) and was told that it comes with it. Unfortunately, KimLun came back with a simple reply that the catalogue was misprinted and the show unit shouldn't have a sliding door there. shakehead.gif

Anyway, from the way it looks KimLun is not going to do anything about this. I've told them to hold on to the SnP and we'll see how it goes. I just hope that this is the only blip. No more surprises in future.

Mine is from Tower B.

Note sure if it'll affect all units but Type A will most definitely be affected.

What you can do is cross-check the floor plan from your SnP against the brochure (and what you were informed by sales rep. earlier). Technically, the information should be consistent.

It is the bathroom's sliding door. If you have the official brochure, you can see that there should be 2 door openings to the bathroom (as per show unit).

i am looking at the brochure now..no sliding door means we have to go out from the room to enter the bathroom!

I have also recently purchased from HYVE last month. Tower B Units does not seems to be affected by the so called "blocked view". As facing south units, there will be no blockage. Medium to higher floors can get open view smile.gif After much consideration and evaluation based on Cyberjaya's property market and also all of the other development, HYVE is the lowest density among the other SOHO developments.

I also was told that the Unit does come with the said (sliding door) for the Type A, but upon signing S&P i found out that it was not there too. Nevertheless, it is only a sliding door. As the unit is a SOHO, technically there will be no bedroom and entrance to the bathroom should not be an issue ( just my 2 cents smile.gif )

Yeah I agree... "it is only a sliding door"... but what amazed me was that they didn't even have the courtesy to inform buyer / potential buyer of the oversight on their end...

It was only mentioned after we questioned so for me this is definitely a cause for concern and hope there won't be anymore unforeseen issues in the future.

Oh well...

It still a blantant lie by company of such profile. You may say it is just a sliding door...the fact of the matter is KIM LUN failed to honour their promises. Who would want to trust them anymore? Will you? I will never buy their properties ever again. So are my family & friends UNLESS KIM LUN does something to rectify this immediately. And stop sending in ppl to say nice things abt them or try to promote their stuffs. Remember, trust is only given once.

I am pissed too but there is really no point shouting in the air. I think if we can gather enough names and write a joint complaint to Kim Lun as well as consumer association, I believe they will honour as the cost to them is really negligible especially if it is a clear case of misrepresentation. If there is only one complaint, they can say is purchaser's wrong interpretation but if there are more than 100 complaints then it must be misrepresentation from developer side.
Since organising joint complaint is going to be extremely difficult, why not we write individually to Kim Lun's MD in JB. He may not know the problem. He has to protect the reputation of the company especially when the company is at fault. Can someone who knows the details help to draft a simple complaint letter where everyone can use? notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif kam sia

Whatever it is, the management of Kim Lun need to address & rectify this. They cant just keep quiet abt this. Take responsibility! They are a public listed corporate. Perhaps i should personally turn up at their AGM to ask them.

Shaftsbury square also launched at 500psf 3 years ago but hyve launching price was still lower. Any the know the current value of shaftsbury square soho as a guide of future appreciation of hyve?
