We got a rebranded Tamron 24-70 to Pentax

Wonder where are the pentax ppl are.... Talked to a dealer and they say pentax is very small for as compared to other brand...

I think i can see the dslr have good value in it... But what up with SDM issues on the lens?

maybe you want to also ask the dealer, wheres the promo? they hardly promo their things, thats why not many people even know the brand.

Look for pentax2u.com and talk to William for promos and freebies.

Frustrating to deal with local camera shops most of the salesperson totally blur.

Try asking for step-up-rings and either salesperson dunno or insisting it's a UV filter hahaha

Thanks for the heads up bro. The dealer I told me about how good pentax was but not very keen to carry teh brand as not many people buy this brand as compared to canon/nikon cameras. I did handle KS 2 as they have test sample and not bad to be honest. Wish i could handle K3 ii as what i read it is one of best perfoming apsc cameras around.

Not to mention i had some of their old super takumar lens which is gorgeous too and small

First rule before buying a Pentax Camera..........

Love the Brand and Not The Camera.

And believe in Snapsort that the K-5 is still one of the best APSC DSLR up till now and image quality is better than the Canon 5D Mark II.

The Super Takumars are wonderful lenses, can adapt them to nearly any modern camera.

Still use them with Spotmatic cameras. Metering feels more natural on the Spotmatics so I rarely mount them on digital

True most ppl dun even think Pentax when it comes to buying a new DSLR.
