"The Pentax K-3 II debuts an innovative feature called the Pixel-Shifting Resolution System, a type of super-resolution technology that increases the effective level of detail in images without requiring a higher sensor resolution.
Ultimately, we expect the K-3 II to be able to deliver noticeably more detailed landscape or cityscape images than the K-3 with a lower susceptibility to moire, noise, and edge artifacts. If this system could evolve to work off a tripod in the future, it would be a very significant technological advancement for Pentax!"

meaning right now, this tech is only work when the cam is on tripod?
Yup. I pretty sure need a tripod. And a good heavy one. And no wind earth not shaking. Subject have to be still. Like the Olympus Don't Know What Mark II. But if done properly, the result can be as good as the 645z.

Who says Pentax is useless for video? I shot this a while back with a K-5, a GoPro 2 Hero and a Sony NEX-5. The GoPro and Sony were stationary (sitting on a speaker respectively on a tripod), the K-5 was used handheld, without any additional gear to stabilize. Only the built in SR. The K-5 didn't overheat, the Sony did. The plan was to shoot the whole concert and sync it with a recording of the audio track, sadly the sound technician lost the thumbdrive he copied it onto.
The light in the place was terrible (for my stills the only way to get halfway usable shots was to push the white balance to the extremes, only then it would be not overblown). Basically only one color, and not a pleasant one. Had to use lots of color correction, which the K-5 footage took easily, but the Sony... really not grading friendly. In general the Sony footage looked absolutely terrible.
I ended up syncing up one song with the album version, painstackingly matching up video with audio (every few seconds it would go out of sync...). It's a shame I don't have good audio... the K-5 had the best recording (not as close to the speakers), but wasn't continuous.

Any GXR user here? I just discovered this little gem with very low price tag. A12 M mount is really fun to use!
Collecting all the other Lensor too
Just want to ask, the Fn assignment is a bit strange. After I assigned fn2 as enlarge all with A12 mount. But after I switched to P10 and then switch back to A12 mount, the Fn2 reset to flash compensation.
How to overcome this problem?
