The 408 is more than capable to keep in the lane at high speed corners, no need for racing lines thumbup.gif

Experienced this few months ago at karak highway, a car was changing lanes bersepah2 to use the so called racing line, but he still cant keep up with me eventhough i just kept to my lane

I send the car for 1st server 2500km at Puchong SC and complained about the uneven tyre wear. The first alignment/balancing/rotation was done FOC. However it caused my steering to shake at speed of 130km/hr. Complaint again and they charged RM100 for re-do of balancing and alignment. Is this normal? I argued with them but they insist me to pay.

F**k, had just tested my car at 120km/h...the stearing shack like harlem shake....

called peugeot service center at PJ 227 branch.. the guy dont even wanna entertain me. said they dont have facility to do it. and ask me to call glenmarrie.

Called Glenmarrie, the operator direct me to technician, technician direct me to a lady. the lady direct me to engage (3min).

Called Glenmarrie again, operator direct me to engage (5min)

Called Glenmarrie again again, operator direct me to engage (2min), but finally someone pick up to drop down my number and promise to call me back.

Anyway, they told me is free for Alignment + balancing if your milleage is not more than 500KM.

very bad service. I only can blame their management. doh.gif

What a bad month. Two weeks ago my Suzuki hit by taxi, so today sent for repair. Then I realise I left my home key in the car and the car leave at workshop. So I drive my peugeot to the workshop to pick the key, and this time a motorbike hit my peugeot and leave a deep scratch between the door and the side skirting. As deep as it reach inside the body metal.

What is the paint brands ? Last few days spend time and found the Suzuki paint brand is PPG (good paint). I read somewhere on the website mentioned peugeot using Glasurit ? Any idea ? Glasurit is very good paint.

The scratch just below the door. Which good paint shop just for touch- up but with original paint.

Don't think you can get any these days, the price is very strictly controlled now. The last time I got 10% discount for my PAM90 was because I knew the distributor personally, and that was 2 years back. You want to buy it cheaper, get 2nd hand is the only way now. That's what most people do anyways.
*
Where to get the second hand ?

I having the same luck as you but my damage was lighter. A blue Avanza just kiss my rear 408 when both of us reverse from parking lot. Just a scratch at rear bumper. Didnt bother to repaint it since Im going to wrap the car with decals.

Hi guys, I getting my 408 Turbo 2mths ago. My petrol consumption from the pass 2mth until now is stay between 19~22L/100KM. I did do a record and it shows that every 50L of petrol can only last for average around 250km. May I know is that normal with this high petrol consumption ? I am staying in a small town with no highway and a lots of traffic light.
