Ok, if like this. They have your car, but not your geran yet. Push your SA to get him to talk to the dealer. Other than that, that's not much else he can do. Best you can do now is call up the 2nd hand car dealer yourself and push him. But as long as he don't pay up the car settlement, you legally must still pay your installment for the Myvi or you will kena blacklist. At the same time, if you have already gotten the bank loan approval etc for your new car, you are also legally obligated to pay for that installment as well. Did you sign any bank loan agreement for the new car?

Also, surely you must have paid some booking fee right? Does it come up to 10% of the overall car purchasing price?

I didnt pay anything to the SA, because with the RM8000 cash rebate + my trade in (minus of current loan, will have 4.8k), so that is the down payment for the car.

Not sure but my car already finished payment. So fella took my car and gave check the day I picked up the pug. Ths was followed by a letter to jpj saying car sold but named not changed yet...

I have signed on the new bank loan.
I didnt pay any booking fees. He pay on behalf on me and minus it off from my NCD.

NCD basically just reduces the insurance cost.

Basically you now have no choice but to pay off 2 installments until the dealer settles off your car. Otherwise, one of the bank will blacklist you and then you'd have a lot of problems to deal with. You have to keep calling him to push him in doing that. I don't think it looks very good at the moment, particularly if the dealer decides to drag and delay selling off your car.

Next time be more careful. Only give him your keys when money has changed hands.

In my case I just make sure my SA as the middle man . All he needs to do is call up his car dealers and get an estimate value (best if the car dealer come to see yr car first) . Told him to put all the values in the quotation or booking form and sign including my trade in car values. Then i went to do full settlement as it not much remaining. Took out my geran and only pass with the keys to the car dealer the day I took my pug. And he don't need the original geran for car inspection I just fax to him. Btw what inspections? Mine just took a drive and we close the deal a little lower then the first estimate cause you know the mechanic BS stories ....engine got noise lah...blah blah blah. Then I press my SA to compensate half about rm200 each person. Last I just sign the car release form and Bank will notify the Jpj. Most important to work with your SA. While I'm working in kl, I got mine all the way from melaka cause of his good service not to mentioned good deals....8k rebet...carpet...tint...special no...crystal plate... Full tank.... Before that I went to talk and test drive at 3 outlets around kl first... One give Bad service, one no good deal and one try to con me 1k from the rebets....lol
