Guys just for your info:

5411 - Grocery Stores, Supermarkets
5422 - Freezer and Locker Meat Provisioners (not included by Wise, but by OCBC Titanium)
5451 - Dairy Products Stores (not included by Wise, but by OCBC Titanium)

5811 - Caterers
5812 - Eating Places, Restaurants
5813 - Drinking places (not included by Wise, but by OCBC Titanium)
5814 - Fast food

5541 - Service stations (not included by Wise, but by OCBC Titanium)
5542 - Automated Fuel Dispensers
4814 - Telecommunication Services (under Wise's mobile category, only stated the company but not the MCC code, so not sure is this MCC code accepted or not, but it is for OCBC Titanium)
4815 - Cable, Satellite, and Other Pay Television and Radio (not included by Wise, but by OCBC Titanium)
4816 - Computer Network Services (not included by Wise, but by OCBC Titanium)
4821 - Telegraph Services (not included by Wise, but by OCBC Titanium)
4900 - Utilities

Anyway, be careful with paying inside of petrol stations. Might not be accepted, since Wise only accepts MCC 5242 which is Automated Fuel Dispensers

Yup I think so too. In that case we can't pay inside sad.gif. Have to revert back to my OCBC Titanium if I urgently need fuel and the pump credit card readers are down.

Anyway, to maximize the rebates from this card, it really pushes you to spend really 'Wisely'. Now I will need to alternate with my other cards in other to take advantage as much rebates as I can.

My current CC usage to maximize rebates:

- For all dining, petrol and mobile everyday, use HL Wise (10%) *Using Mobile, Petrol and Dining category, and assumption that i can fulfill RM50*10 transactions per month
- For everything besides dining, petrol and movie on weekends, use MBB Maybankard2 AMEX (7.5%)
- For groceries, drinking bars, convenience stores, other bills on weekdays, use OCBC Titanium (5%)
- For everything else, use MBB Maybankard2 Amex (2.5%)
- For everything else without AMEX, use OCBC Titanium (1%)

For the next quarter I will gauge my usage of the last 2 tier (2.5% and 1%) and if my usage exceeds RM3k per quarter, I will consider to Apply for the AEON Watami card, so I can take advantage of the 3% daily cashback for every retail transaction.

We can always pay Mobile bills from vendor's online portal, right ?
Maxis allows E-Billing Payment with any Visa/MasterCard

uMobile do available as well. smile.gif

I would expect a one stop bill payment gateway with preregistered billers for ease of payments from HLB connect.
You still can't pay TNB online using WC, not sure about Digi, Celcom and Umobile though.

Yeap available for uMobile portal, and yet reported issue not only HLB think other bank portal is really limited is wanna use the credit card to do online transaction.

Interest is 15% pa at best and 18%pa at worst. Since HLB only rebate 28th following month, means, you will be charged interest first...right? But still nett, assuming best case scenario...you win by 10% ie only pay 5%-8% interest.

How does WISE compare to MBB2 card with 8.88% interest and sumore give 5% cashback?
+ 5x points
+ Free for life

Or any other cards with lower interest with cashback?

I think we should also take the interest into consideration...no? As well as all/any fees etc to better compare with other cards.

It will be counted as 4 times but the problem is there is no way to break it to 4 payments. You must pay the full amount.

Of course you won't get 10%, cos the MCC in the Petrol Cashier(5541) is different from what WISE Petrol rebate uses (5542)
