At the end, it just wasted my whole saturday morning I have been reading your Ecotint complain for so long d...Proton Service really sucks...waste of time and energy.... They should open their damn service centre 24x7 if they cannot fix all the car on time.... |

QUOTE(seruzz2003 @ Jan 22 2013, 09:40 AM) hi guys.a proud owner of a elegant brown CFE here. I am driving Exec CVT currently clock at 4500km....my fuel indicator at last bar now(not yet blinking), mileage done 293km my car has currently clocked 1500km. However, i realised the fuel consumption is pretty bad. On a full tank, i can only manage around 350km of town driving. Some owners are getting better FC....fuel or traffic condition might contribute to better FC.... |

QUOTE(Pace @ Jan 22 2013, 02:13 PM) Hi Guys. My first post in this forum. my preve aircond have the smell of wet clothes when first turning on the aircond...I'm waiting for my Preve CFE. I'm also a Exora Bold CFE owner. Confirmed that the aircond problem is due to thermoamp. The symptoms are a) smell of "wet clothes" (bau hapak) when first turning on the aircond b) when idle or just on startup, only normal air and no cold air till you rev or get the car moving c) the aircond is supercold when on the highway outstation The thermoamp failure is common in Exora. I've claimed twice. First in 1k service and another time in 10K service. I was told that there is a new thermoamp module from Nov 2012. Dealer service centres may not have this improved unit yet so you need to go to branch service centres. how long does it take for them to replace the thermoamp? |

QUOTE(Pace @ Jan 22 2013, 02:39 PM) Mutiara Damansara takes the whole day but I was told quite fast. They have to get the aircond specialist from Section 13 to do it. They will normally accumulate a few cars with the same issue when you are booking for service and it can take quite long. that's the one thing I don't like about branch service centres...one minor problem, one day....few minor problems...have to leave the car there...There is no such thing as fast service from branch service centres. Dealer service centres might be faster but hesitant to entertain warranty claims. I was told by my regular mechanic that the aircond thermo amp issue is common for campro. anyway, thanks for the info..previously someone mention that the smell is common, advice me to put a charcoal cabin filter to filter the smell.. |

QUOTE(deity01 @ Jan 29 2013, 04:56 PM) sometimes quite confuse with the service interval..normally the service interval written in the booklet as 1k, 5k, 10k, 15k/20k but since we service the car at 1k, so the next service should be 6k (1k+5k) using normal engine oil.. if use full synth 11k (10k+1k), is this correct? will it void the warranty?? |

QUOTE(swk_sam @ Jan 30 2013, 01:39 PM) Then it is dangerous. Imagine your child sit behind and u forget to use the child lock. the design is like that..same as the current VW and BMW design..I not sure is it BMW and WV having the same feature. I know this is safety measure when something happen to let u get out. But this is something dangerous too I am not pointing at central locking. Pls try your self sit inside lock the door. Then open the door like normal but pull twice. Nope no need to unlock just pull twice the door will open even u lock it. the first pull will unlock the door and second pull will open the door...there is nothing you can do about it.. ps:/if your children is sitting behind, make sure the child lock is ON..if they are old enough, just give them proper instructions about the door handle features..
