Is yours an AEON cc or AEON WATAMI cc?
Mine was rejected due to account number (not beneficiary name).
As what I was told by the AEON CS, the important bit is the account number not the beneficiary name (even it get truncated).

In that case we blame AEON for not updating Citibank of the new AEON Watami number format

Yes, Watami seems to be the unsupported cc for IBG via m2u at the moment.
Just like the pay cc using bill payment method via m2u (RM1 fee) was not supported for Watami before May this year.

Another issue spotted and reported to AEON CS regarding the RM30 birthday voucher.
The FAQ stated as follow. Have anyone received it? I have not even past my birthday already.

Mine is also not received for Birthday Voucher....
My birthday month is August, should see the RM30 Birthday voucher in June, right ?
Time to call the AEON CS to complain.

Good news, insurance do cover as part of the 3% discount, I js get my statement with the discount. happy...

Just got my aeon cc

I have read through part of the thread but still a bit confused on somethings. want to clarify

1) Every RM1 we swipe, in Aeon, we get 2 points. is this valid for supermarket + departmental store?

2) for aeon voucher, every 12500 points = RM 50. in this case, does it mean the rebate rate is 0.8%?

3) I saw somewhere in the thread, if swipe 3x within 1 year, qualify to get RM 50 cash rebate (I assume to offset GST)? is this correct?

4) For IBG payment from Maybank or cimb, is it the charges Rm 0.10 + RM 1 ?

1) The 2X points is very confusing....
You get 1 Bonus Point for RM1.00 at AEON stores. Another 1 point per RM1 via the AEON Member Card swipe => 2X Points
You get 1 Bonus Point for RM2.00 at other retail spends (not in AEON)

2) You won't get Bonus Point (to redeem voucher) as it's automatically transfer to your AEON MEMBER CARD points tally.

3) Not sure about this part....

Was considering watami but I don't think I can hit the 3k per quarter quota since I can't hit the max rebate given by mbb amex, ocbc titanium .

JUst got my 1st Quarter 3% CB RM150 on 2.7.2013. My card anniversary month stated as 1.4.2014. Earlier from here i thought i would only expect the CB on 30.7.13.

Watami is a good Card!!
And top up for Celcom prepaid it gives additional 2%CB!

I just checked my statement. Yes, I got my 3% rebate too.
Rm144.19. Anni mth is also 1 April 2014.
Watami card is good for paying yrly/half yrly insurance/Car insurance, etc....
