Hi all,

Just got my aeon cc

I have read through part of the thread but still a bit confused on somethings. want to clarify

1) Every RM1 we swipe, in Aeon, we get 2 points. is this valid for supermarket + departmental store?

2) for aeon voucher, every 12500 points = RM 50. in this case, does it mean the rebate rate is 0.8%?

3) I saw somewhere in the thread, if swipe 3x within 1 year, qualify to get RM 50 cash rebate (I assume to offset GST)? is this correct?

4) For IBG payment from Maybank or cimb, is it the charges Rm 0.10 + RM 1 ?

Thanks

For no3,i tried once but the customer service denied my request.huhu

Number 3 is kinda like a promotion for new application, i called Aeon they told me i am eligible and it will show up in my statement in October for performing 3 swipe of min. RM50 within 3 months. Plus you will also get back the annual fee you paid for Aeon card (I paid 24 for 3 years - will be rebate in with the RM50 to offset GST)

I've made the payment via M2U (Choose IBG Transfer - CITIBANK MALAYSIA - Credit Card Payment, enter CC number and amount) on Monday but so far my AEON online summary has not shown any payment made.

Usually how many days will it take to be cleared?

Thanks.

Ah..just login and checked. It has appeared in my AEON online statement! Luckily, as I thought I had done a mistake during the IBG transfer...

Yup! Only costs RM0.10, very good. I did exactly as per lamode's instruction:

https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=61381789

For beneficiary name/recipient name, I put my full name.

Now with this watami card, all the expenses used on this card will return a CB of 3% upto a max of RM150 quarterly, ie spend upto RM5000 quarterly.

If you have maxed out your CB on MBB Amex, OCBC Ti and HL Wise cards, all your remaining expenses are better charged to this watami card, as you wont get 3% rebate on the other cards.

The next best is 2.5% from 5x TP from MBB Amex.

We are all now spoilt with CB, looks like the min we can get now is 3% on any expenses that we can charge to this Watami card.

Gone are the days when we only get points which usually equtes a 0.5% rebate in terms of RM .

The highest points from local transaction is 5x TP (MBB AMex) that equals 2.5% RM rebate.

I stand corrected on this conclusion that i made.

Did i miss out other better rebates?

So you mean you key in 'AEON CREDIT for', but the field is not long enough to accomodate this + your full name.

I didn't even put the text "AEON CREDIT for", as I just simply put my name.
