Should organize more often this type of chapalang TT QUOTE(dont8cum @ Jan 12 2013, 01:54 AM) Less den 11 sec? That's fast. I dunno what's L gear for, but SAT is definitely a function to imitate the tranny like a traditional 4AT but with 6 different gear ratio. So, instead of normal 4AT, you get a 6AT. SAT button will not save fuel if you do not know how to drive it because the inconsistent gear ratio will put your RPM hai up and ended up consume more petrol. If you smart enough, let the car drive with CVT mode, until you reach around 70kmh, switch on SAT you should be at "5th gear" ady, gradually release your gas pedal abit, then slowly press it back, TCU will be sohigh enough to think the torque was used up and switch to "6th gear". Then you'll be cruising at 80kmh at around 1.5krpm. That's how SAT save fuel. I haven't get a chance to thoroughly test all the "gear ratio" on SAT mode since I don't own an FLX CVT. But this type of experiment definitely worth trying, cause finding the best "gear ratio" on SAT mode can definitely make it lower fuel consumption than any other manual car! 20km/litre? I think still very possible, until someone kind enough(and trust me won't wreck their car) to let me do an 80km midnight run with their FLX CVT I saw some people say for the L fear is for sport mode is it? Or just he's stupid? I tot L is 1st gear? And also what is the usage for SAT button? Save fuel? Like that why don't we just put it switched on 24/7? |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jan 12 2013, 02:03 AM) Boss, boley pinjam sama gua test Gabby wa tak? it will not shift to 6th. Even pedal to metal also, you need a runway long enough in order for it to go into 6th gear because it will only engage 6th at speed above 150kph. In the end it is still a CVT, so it will not adjust by gear ratio but instead, adjust "internally". Sorry wasn't able to catch up with your Gabby enough. QUOTE(dont8cum @ Jan 12 2013, 01:54 AM) Less den 11 sec? That's fast. Re the L gear, they are sorta right. This is a CVT, so the L gear is different than the one on a normal 4AT. It basically "shortens" the gear ratios and increases the RPM increment per throttle input compared to D, there your RPM climbs faster when you accelerate, giving you access to more torque sooner. The nett effect is quicker acceleration, most noticable when climbing hills.I saw some people say for the L fear is for sport mode is it? Or just he's stupid? I tot L is 1st gear? And also what is the usage for SAT button? Save fuel? Like that why don't we just put it switched on 24/7? CVT has not fixed gear ratio, it's ratio adjusts according to how much torque you need. The SAT mode basically turns your CVT into a 6-spd fixed gear ratio gearbox. With the right technique and circumstances, it can help you save fuel, but most of the time you're better of keeping it off. |

QUOTE(dares @ Jan 12 2013, 12:56 AM) Can't be a pessimist eh. When they wrote at the brochure 9l/100km. People have proven to be able to go beyond. Besides mine is stock car, so the golden right foot applies. Magic of cvt yet to be understood. After i reached 18km/l that day, I'm quite sure there'll be people that can surpass that value. |
