for me, my cvt'ed saga when drive at 2krpm and stay there, it give quite nice power delivery and speed increasing constantly. until 85km, rpm meter raise bit by bit as engine spin more to gain until 3krpm at 125kmh

since mostly done in highways, i can get rm50 petrol for 310km-330km. fyi, ecu not flash yet

Hi, juz for sharing my story. Thanks for reading.
Own 3yrs old Potong BLM. No comment on performance. Last 2 days i got a shock! Unable to start my car. What the hack! Juz changed battery a month ago. Never missed any services from P service centre before. All the time fully syn oil. Call SC and they ask me to tow my car to their place and for checking. Lazy to call insurance company for free towing. So... juz went Ah Kaw workshop and ask them to come to my house. He tried to jump start. No progress.... Connected to his tester/diagnose kit and reset everything. Ta da... My car back to normal liao. Asked him to confirm is there any error or part failure. Showed the screen to me. No failure detected. Why? Ah Kaw said to me. This is normal for Campro Engine. Paid 40 and thank him.
Next day, my fren Potong Exora 1.5 yrs also unable to start. Called me for help. I ask Ah Kaw to help him. Guess what? He did the same thing. Juz reset and Ta da... can start liao. He paid him 60 smile.gif
Ha..ha.. I know the trick now. Keep Ah Kaw HP number.

Anyone knows what is the problem here sad.gif
Ah Kaw told me Campro engine behave like this. Suka hati. Ah Kaw is cheating me here? Or is it true?

got any of these symptoms?:

Wuekekeke vroom = start normally
Wuekekekekekekekekeke = no fuel supply
Wuekekekekekekekkekek.... kekeke(faster).... kekekekek(slower) = petrol over flow
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee = Timing belt putus(engine already gone, so as your wallet)
Tik tak tik tak = Starter relay sound, normally starter KO
Wuek... Bin Bin Bin Bin(car horn alarm) = Bateri weak
...............................(no sound no light no nothing) = Bateri kong, you probably left the headlamp on overnight

I think the 2nd one. But Ah Kaw did check the fuel pump is ok. Juz located below rear seat. Got fuel flowing out sad.gif. After connected to test/diagnose kit and reset all in good condition liao sad.gif

last time coolkwc battery kong, change new battery need to crack start wuekekeke for about 1 minute then only can start car.
try disconnect battery, then reconnect again battery, then start.
in v37, got 1 member his sister's sga got problem like urs. they towed to SC to diagnose. dunno what happened then.

if can crank, try to crank longer... if still cannot then sumthing wrg... sumtimes my car also like this. crank cant start.. but crank slightly longer able to start... but its only once in a while it will happend... YAB previously got stated the problem if not mistaken...

Normal for most, I repeat MOST fuel injection cars. Sometimes when cranking along for long long time the car also wont start, it most probably is because of YOURSELF.

1) When you try start kenot, then you switch the key off. Reengage the ACC to hear the fuel pump again "Teeeeet", then your manifold overflow with petrol liao. How to start?
2) When one kenot start after cranking awhile, then felt something is wrong, go step on gas pedal. More air go in manifold detect got air come in, faster release fuel regulator, then manifold overflow with petrol liao. How to start?
3) Magician can only RESET ECU(not reflash or alter settings). After reset, all parameter will be recalibrate to factory default. When that happened, your throttlebody in tight shut position, canister purge valve will purge off most excess vapor/fuel, alas you get to start the car easily whistling.gif

This type of problem mostly affecting those cars fitted with variable intake system(different than valve timing system - MIVEC/VTEC/VVTi/CPS). When AFM(Air Fuel Module) start to fail, engine choke, hard to crank start after too long rest/engine hot, power surge(torque dipping) is the common symptoms. If worst, it can lead to blown gasket as purge valve may start to purge off too much fuel than air. When engine running lean, engine will develop high heat symptoms as a beginning. If after flushed radiator also not improving, its time to take a look at the AFM liao. If lucky, just replace the purge valve and things will get normal.

I only managed to put my hands on very little amount of newer cars. Since ayam not savvy with EFi cars, I guess that's all I can tell. From what I heard, BLM pre 2010 tend to have this kinda problem. I take a wild guess, may be the car for 2010 is still new. Who knows the next 1 will be me.... CHOOOOI!!!!!! shakehead.gif

true, especially high speed run on highway for few hours
another one is when u didn't start for few days (eg 1 week) first start engine very weak, almost stalled.. but regain consciousnesses after few seconds

Still too early to say anything. Yesterday spent sometime did some thorough inspection, see whether izit still worthy, turn up the "thing" still can be restore. May further discuss with Marhaihai see whether wanna make it a project car, meanwhile can seek for sponsorship lor laugh.gif Me too old for that lar, but I'll help along side lar.
