For FC concern,

LC2K is a driving technique, to maintain consistent RPM without affecting torque out put too much, as a result to create consistent FC over the long run. Originally, this thread were banned from FC discussion, however Luke the master in FC managed to shed some light on how he achieve good FC, combined with some theory of torque output, the "double clutch" technique had become Luke Clutch 2 Kali. The best record created on BLM SE was 20km/litre. On ordinary KL traffic, Luke managed to stay around 16km/litre.

LC2K also iron out some of te myth regarding 2krpm driving style. Changing gear at 2krpm is fine, but what blows your petrol away from idling speed to 2krpm is your throttle action. LC2K has been upgraded with facts, by reading vacuum meter to understand how throttle position can lead to different FC.

1 can pedal to metal & shift up as soon as engine revving speed reached 2krpm, but that doesn't not translate into ideal FC. Gradually increase throttle action is the crucial part in helping the car to achieve better FC. Let your engine create more momentum before u go fast. Basically that's about it. If any of u keen to learn, come to TT for live action better than TCSS with keyboard.

Thanks for clearing up. Forgot to mention LC2K not applicable to CVT. Maintain below 2krpm on CVT actually iron out the torque output difference since the transmission ratio was controlled by TCU. So for CVT driver, as long as keeping RPM at consistent level, that's the amount of FC you'll be expecting. notworthy.gif

Normal for most, I repeat MOST fuel injection cars. Sometimes when cranking along for long long time the car also wont start, it most probably is because of YOURSELF.

1) When you try start kenot, then you switch the key off. Reengage the ACC to hear the fuel pump again "Teeeeet", then your manifold overflow with petrol liao. How to start?
2) When one kenot start after cranking awhile, then felt something is wrong, go step on gas pedal. More air go in manifold detect got air come in, faster release fuel regulator, then manifold overflow with petrol liao. How to start?
3) Magician can only RESET ECU(not reflash or alter settings). After reset, all parameter will be recalibrate to factory default. When that happened, your throttlebody in tight shut position, canister purge valve will purge off most excess vapor/fuel, alas you get to start the car easily whistling.gif

This type of problem mostly affecting those cars fitted with variable intake system(different than valve timing system - MIVEC/VTEC/VVTi/CPS). When AFM(Air Fuel Module) start to fail, engine choke, hard to crank start after too long rest/engine hot, power surge(torque dipping) is the common symptoms. If worst, it can lead to blown gasket as purge valve may start to purge off too much fuel than air. When engine running lean, engine will develop high heat symptoms as a beginning. If after flushed radiator also not improving, its time to take a look at the AFM liao. If lucky, just replace the purge valve and things will get normal.

I only managed to put my hands on very little amount of newer cars. Since ayam not savvy with EFi cars, I guess that's all I can tell. From what I heard, BLM pre 2010 tend to have this kinda problem. I take a wild guess, may be the car for 2010 is still new. Who knows the next 1 will be me.... CHOOOOI!!!!!! shakehead.gif

Still too early to say anything. Yesterday spent sometime did some thorough inspection, see whether izit still worthy, turn up the "thing" still can be restore. If twist the key Wuekekeke( normally the 4th time "kek") meaning complete 1 cycle of flywheel liao. By right the car should start. If that doesn't, you do NOT turn the key ALL the way back to OFF. Just leave it at ON, rest a while(atleast 2 seconds) then continue. Turning all the way back to off, the next time you turn the key passes by ACC to ON, the fuel pump will pump petrol inside again

I dunno what's L gear for, but SAT is definitely a function to imitate the tranny like a traditional 4AT but with 6 different gear ratio. So, instead of normal 4AT, you get a 6AT. SAT button will not save fuel if you do not know how to drive it because the inconsistent gear ratio will put your RPM hai up and ended up consume more petrol. If you smart enough, let the car drive with CVT mode, until you reach around 70kmh, switch on SAT you should be at "5th gear" ady, gradually release your gas pedal abit, then slowly press it back, TCU will be sohigh enough to think the torque was used up and switch to "6th gear". Then you'll be cruising at 80kmh at around 1.5krpm. That's how SAT save fuel. I haven't get a chance to thoroughly test all the "gear ratio" on SAT mode since I don't own an FLX CVT. But this type of experiment definitely worth trying, cause finding the best "gear ratio" on SAT mode can definitely make it lower fuel consumption than any other manual car! 20km/litre? I think still very possible, until someone kind enough(and trust me won't wreck their car) to let me do an 80km midnight run with their FLX CVT laugh.gif

Ohh..... mellow.gif so, the gear change I experienced is "4th" to "5th"? Coz u know la, driving other's car dun dare whack the car so hard for all the possibilities. I have that kind of assumption was due to the experience of "shift shock" that imitation of gear change, by around 110kmh only can get up to "6th" gear. If drive with normal mode up to around 70kmh, switch to SAT & do the trick I mention can lower the RPM, o I assume that's "6th gear" lo.But nevermind la, I wish I can explore more in CVT's FC.
