VERY BAD ATTITUDE SELLER !!!
tell you guys a story~
today i when to thier shop at subang was back from working place~
when i was asking about a phone brand you guy know what happen ??!??
Seller : Can i help you?
Me : Can i ask galaxy price black and white
Seller : White 1198, Black 1148
Me : the price very differents between ? Oh~
Seller : yeah~
Me : can i ask 1 more time white how much 1198?
Seller : ...
Me : got add anything~?
Seller : No add things~ YOU DONT WANNA BUY OSO NEVERMIND!!!
Me : ??? ( what happen to him? ) shakehead.gif
Me : YOU take 1 Black for me i wanna BUY!!! (i was angry) mad.gif
Seller : CASH OR CREDIT CARD???
Me : CASH!!!
(That "FAT BOY With Bad Eye peas" ! Bad Attitude" go inside STOCK find for me )
After he came out !!!
Sell : NO STOCK !!!

i wear like normal he told i no money Buy PHONE !!!
and SAID !!! ~ YOU DONT WANNA BUY OSO NEVERMIND!!!


Then i when to other shop buy !!!
S3... this kind of ppl ! better dont buy with him !!!

Really said !!! if phone expensive abit i oso can give !!! if good on service !

I think directd has gone into big head, thinking no need to bother small fish like you. Like saying, when business do big liao, petty transaction will be neglected. Yet many tend to buy from them...possibly that cause the bad services.

To be frank, i dont find directd's pricing is attractive where other shop like one gadget who offer better price. Nevertheless, you have the right to choose. If you think they are giving bad services, avoid them and choose others....right? tongue.gif

i wear simple only...

they look at me like no money one, the phone i ask they said no stock...

im not urgent so ask them to call me if got stock... until now never call & decided to buy from other place...

I feel your pain TS. I was in a similar situation.

Was with my mum accompanying her to get an S3. It was during the early weeks of its launch.

The sale's attendee was rather rude with us. We wanted to look at the real set in our hands to compare between white and blue. He gave some gibberish BS and showed us a picture of it. A FREAKING picture. Disgusted and left.

let's play a healthy competition.. focus on your business to everyone can expand together. the market is big enough for all of us smile.gif

some of you might had bad experience with us, some might have better or good experience. whatever it is, thousand apologize to all of you. but dont you guys think that all happened are just a matter of expectation?

sometimes customer unsatisfy because have to wait so long for their turns?
due to our policy that doesnt allow phone to be opened and tested?
due to our business policy that all price selling are at fixed price?

i admit sometimes the staffs make mistakes, but it's really a tough situation for our staff.. when they serve one customer well. have a laugh, share some tips n etc, the next customers in line make face due to long waiting. so our customer have to cut it short.
some customers insist on testing the phone, even our staff said it's not possible..

believe me, there is pros n cons for this. cons is yes you cant see the phone. but you can always have a look at retail RRP outlet. the pros is, you are guaranteed be the first to use the phone. this is what we want to make sure, that most normal shops cant offer. you go buy even s3 original at those kiosk or normal shop sometimes the phone has been switched on, tested by many people. is this what you want?

we have to think in a broader way, that might hurts some of you. we always put priority in stuffs we are selling. and we want to make sure our customer satisfy with the products, then with our service.

regarding the receipt, we change our policy from time to time, it's already explained yet still got some people raised that again. i dont think we are like government need to propose a policy at parliament before get approval..

again, sorry for all the offensive statements, but having empathy is important so that we know what is our right, and what is others.

but in their sellers mind, they think they already have many ppl buy from them ady, "you don't wanna buy, other people will buy, so why want to deal with you, ask so many questions and ask for discount discount"

i can say this happens only when this one customer is uncertain to buy or not. not sure what model to buy. and thing like that..

so u try to move on to next customer and let the first customer to think first.

in an ideal world, this can be done without any hard feeling. like telling customer to think first and let me handle other customer in a while. he or she can always come back find me once has decision.. the customer goes to the back to think first and i can serve other customer first.

but some customer does not want to go back. he wants to stick at the main counter and insist on the salesperson to wait... drag him along while he's making the decision.. i understand why.. the customer himself might wait long enough for his turn so there's no way for him to go back. but we are human, and sometimes we lose our cool -- be it as seller or as customer.

try to understand each other, empathy is the word i stress always. respect others, the customer, the salesperson, the other customers.. then we will be respected. i emphasize this to all our staffs, but i dont have right to stress this on our customer.

in malaysia we used to have words like customer always rights and so on. but if u go oversea, australia, japan then u can even see words of advice to the customer to respect the salesperson and business policy.

they are modern countries and ahead of us in many ways. they already understand one thing we yet to know: to improve this situation, it's both ways responsibilities, not just one side.

I go there because cheap.I just grab and go..btw kena one time with them.call said got stock but when arrived said no stock pulak..waste my time Liao drive from port klang..however after complaint at their thread they agree to compensate by free delivery to my doorstep..will I buy again from them? I think so~

no problem with DirectD either, willing to reply query via Whatsapp, staff entertained us nicely, except that the staff might want to consider practicing their screen protector installation skill, bought two phones, one phone had to install twice (first one got ruined I guess) and second phone's screen protector not aligned properly, ended up having air bubble at the edges and collecting dust underneath

though I did see some customers came in to ask for iPhone, but the staff did not have time to entertain as he was entertaining another customer and just gave brief answers, ended up the customers just left without saying a word.

Hiya most shops are like this la. Not happy to serve the local they think too highly of themselves. You can do ur own experiment, the shop that muka masam to layan you wait till a ang mo enter the shop. Fuuuu!! Service suddenly become 6 stars.

bought 3 unit of galaxy note from the said seller and all went well.

went to the shop. yeah, the shop is not that extravagant. but the service is good, at least for me. i arrived there at 9pm, concluded the trading at 1130pm. quite long but considering the number of staff and request that they get, i think they did pretty well.

i think the one TS reported is just a normal perception.. some is ok with that, some are not. and it takes eternity to make everybody pleased with us.

not vouching for them though.. simply my 2cents

Well, when a company grow so fast to becoming the AP king now..likedat liao lor.. I also dun really like their services bcos too many ppl around and the staff hardly got the time to entertain everyone..but their price really gooding for sure and buying an AP from them for sure got no problem of getting warranty claim bcos they are so big till dun think they will run away within the warranty period haha

Directd should put signboard outside the shop...big signboard..please wear shoe...slipper will not be entertaine...hahaha...joke aside...i think put signage such as price quoted is day to day basis n no discount..better...or put bigger board for list of phone price..atleast the popular one..so customer can check price first if the queue is long...put other information also...such as poster ka..ape ka...pasal warranty ka..so customer can read...

external battery casing at rm150.

while sri computer selling the exact same external battery at rm80.

As long as i get my phone in a pristine condition+ plus cheap price i don't see a point to complaint its not like I'm paying premium for their consulting services eg: Apple reseller

After all everyone makes mistake u probably best survey their price at their website or SMS them beforehand......

Tips to buy DirectD:

1. Research what phone you want and decide first.
2. Go to their shop and check the price list or the whiteboard ( They will update it almost everyday)
3. Ask for the phone
4. Check the phone and accessories
5. Pay for the phone
6. Leave the store with your new phone smile.gif

if u go directd, u gotta noe wat phone u wan buy liao, do all the research etc, u cant go thr n expect to slowly think of wat phone u wan buy or ask for the price, cos in directd most customers already noe wat they wan n they jz go thr tell the model, pay money and leave, sumtimes thrs jz too many ppl inside that they wont hav time to even layan u, they expect u to already made up ur mind wat phone u wan n tell them n they wil get the phone for u and u pay n leave......

they sell the cheapest phones n if u wan buy frm them then u wil hav to sacrifice the good service normal shops offer.....

so for ppl who already decided wat phone they wan n done some research liao, directd is the choice, if nt , then u shuld jz head to other shops which u cn still tok kok wif the seller n expect gud service,but definitely, u pay alot more than if u buy at directd for the same phone model......

Honestly, some shops really don't know how to treat the customers properly. This happens when my dad wanted to buy a car, or even when my mom is out shopping for a new handbag. I mean, is it really that hard to smile, and answer questions politely?

Your job is based solely on human interaction am I right?
If for example, you treat your customers like shit, are they gonna be buying anything from you?

Not everybody knows what they want and what they need. In which consultation is key, though if you really can't help in such a trivial matter, why venture into business at all?

just experience just now when i go to buy the phone using the rebate. the shop got 2 others shop(same company) at the same shopping center..
i already sms the number given by the manufacturer, and the owner reply phone got stock and can use rebate..
when i arrive one of the shop, i ask the staff, u got the blackpearl 2 ? can use rebate?
he say huh? wat rebate? then continue to play dota i was like...............
then i told him the rebate thing, he say ah, that 1 not yet do, the boss didnt say anything..

Bought at December 2011, a Viewsonic tablet. No issues.

Then mom bought a Galaxy S2 last year. Also no issues.

I dont see wat the big fuss is all about. But most importantly is NOT to go in blur. Be a smart shopper.

it's not just negative. earlier last year we introduce 18 months warranty to all brandstar set purchased starting 1 jan 2012. those that bought on 31 dec 2011 is not entitle for it, even the re printed receipt shows warranty is 18 months. that is why, there is date and time of reprinted receipt at the bottom of the page as indicator.

I don't understand what you mean by "Reprinted Receipt'. The Contract was done and the Receipt with T&C Printed say on 1 Jan 2012. 6-mth later, customer comes with Warranty issue and gives you the Original Receipt.

I do hope that when you mean new Receipt, you are not misplacing / destroying / throwing away the original receipt and replacing with a new receipt with new T&C cos the Nice Way to say that is amending the Terms of an Agreed Contact unilateral. Its considered to be illegal and your customers CAN challenge you one day but here in Malaysia, most of us just prefer not to make too much of an issue.

some customers insist on testing the phone, even our staff said it's not possible..

believe me, there is pros n cons for this. cons is yes you cant see the phone. but you can always have a look at retail RRP outlet. the pros is, you are guaranteed be the first to use the phone. this is what we want to make sure, that most normal shops cant offer. you go buy even s3 original at those kiosk or normal shop sometimes the phone has been switched on, tested by many people. is this what you want?

we have to think in a broader way, that might hurts some of you. we always put priority in stuffs we are selling. and we want to make sure our customer satisfy with the products, then with our service.

regarding the receipt, we change our policy from time to time, it's already explained yet still got some people raised that again. i dont think we are like government need to propose a policy at parliament before get approval..

again, sorry for all the offensive statements, but having empathy is important so that we know what is our right, and what is others.

directd suck, i had bad experience with them also in the past. Last time I wanna buy s3, checked the price at mudah, saw that directd offer the cheapest price, call them to confirm the price, they said its true, then i went straight to their shop from shah alam, when i arrived. ask them again the price, its not the same anymore! Luckily i already printscreen the price from the ad in mudah, show it to them their own ad, only then they said okay, thats the price. Then i said i wanna buy, the staff went inside to take the phone, but he came out empty handed, suddenly said they out of stock, asked me to come back later when stock arrived. i really pissed off that time. Waste my time, energy and etc! And I have to admit the staff there were a bit rude.

I see that DirectD himself is monitoring this thread ~ I have something to spit out as well.
He himself might have some memories about this Galaxy Nexus I bought,
because that day I bought it at RM 2899(should be around this, it's December year 2011),
2 hours later I saw that his so called "DirectD Samsung Store" thread edited with price around 2599-2699.
"Okay~.jpg" I thought. Bad luck start at Jan 21 2012, I remember that date very clearly because Jan 22 is CNY's eve.
What happened that night was that I'm using Bluetooth headset talking with GF, playing Mythical defense, and charging at the same time for around 1-2 hours.
The phone is quite hot to touch, and my fingers is very uncomfortable touch the screen, little did I know that it is extremely dangerous for phones to be so hot.
The next morning, my "still charging" Galaxy Nexus is only at 40% battery, and I still have to work, rush to open shop, get charger with me, battery pack with me, and start "fixing" as I know how.
First, drain battery, power off, recharge while power off. 4 hours later, phone refuse to boot, says no battery.
"Okay~.jpg" again I thought.

On next working day of DirectD subang store, I called them, asked about this, they say bring them the phone, should be around Jan 25-28.
After explaining what happened, since my phone doesn't boot and they have to hear my grandfather story, they finally managed to get another Galaxy Nexus's battery to test mine.
The guy that entertain me, upon booting my phone, looking at it for like 5 sec, and tell me with a hint of joy "oh boss, your phone root already lah, no warranty liao"
Long story short, 3 weeks, 2 visits, plenty of phone calls between me and their technician, I have decided not to repair, and leave it as a brick on my desk to remind myself, not to ever buy AP phone anymore.

DirectD, I do understand that on a business point of view, phones that you give out warranty, repair bills is on you.
You have to try and do all you can to reject RMA, legally, to protect your profits.
And since that we are in "Bolehland", we as consumer have less legal protection against this type of abuse compared to UK or US.

What I'm pissed off about, is that your "boys" is not suitable to handle your RMA customer in the face, they have no respect whatsoever towards customer.
Another thing is about Samsung, I'm just doing what they advertise on whatever media they can, bluetooth, 3d games, charging and more, yet the phone breaks, disappointing.

On another matter just for the sake of comparision.
HTC One X, with a lot of problems, HTC even announce that they are sorry for the wireless antenna issue (which is also bluetooth antenna).
I have personally sent mine for warranty, 2 times, both times rooted, yet they change a new one for me, not repair mind you (a 3rd time is coming soon, wireless antenna issue again)
I believe that even if you have bought HTC OneX from DirectD, he have to bear the repair cost of those wireless antennas, and he is doing "repairs", not changing a new one for you.
This is the difference of customer service between an AP set and local set.

Gaining access to the internal file system.You can use the access to install custom kernel or ROM.Some phone show some sign at boot screen showing that it's running custom rom.That's how some shopkeeper find it.
Honestly majority of the ori handset repair center don't even care whether you're rooted or not.If you root & install custom rom sometimes they just close 1 eye & repair it FOC.
IMO rooting & using custom kernel/os should not void warranty.Pushing the hardware like excessive OC or something like that is reasonable cause to void warranty.
This is the first seller that know who really against the rooting.

DIRECTD staff is good at lying. I bought the very first 2g iphone from directd last time. That time the 16gb 2g iphone just released. I called them to confirm before I go to their. Once I reached there they told me it's out of stock for the 16gb and they asked me to get the 8gb instead. I said ok since I don't need that much space. Then when the staff went in and look for the phone I heard his boss was whispering something to him and then he came out empty handed and tell me no stock. Then he asked me to come back tomorrow and promised to give me free gift below RM200 or RM300 I can't remember. I returned the next day and bought the iphone then I ask for the free gift the staff tell me only screen protecter left. Ask me to take one and leave. Seriously fark him.

I have bought from DirectD a Blackberry Playbook and Blackberry Torch before. Also few other deals with him for my friends too. So far all good and he is very friendly so its funny to see many complains against him.

Also i remember once when i was in his shop and his worker (one girl) entertain customer a bit rude and he scolded her in chinese saying treat customers well as they are our business..

Maybe shouldn't blame a whole business just because of 1 sour staff. Coming from a retail business owner, nowadays very hard to find good staff..

but the ad still showing.. it makes me wonder..
they do replace me with something else which does not serve much

im buying from THIS seller for 2-3 times b4 this. Sometimes quite nice but sometime quite S****Y! I have ask him once about S2 that got 2 version,but he jst say that its same and new ver. got G letter only. Actually its not same from overall. Sorry to say if u stupid or not but to answer me just simple like that make me thing..WTF??!!!! did u really qualified to work at phone shop? if not then better "sapu sampah la". no need to think,just sapu kasi bersih la. Last time i buy the other phone,this two guys just save me n i also save the other guys. At mudah they already state the price but when arriving at their shop,suddenly the price change. WTF??!! again...after that two guys came to buy the same phone and they showed the salesgirl the printed price and cut the story...they "HAVE TO" sell to me and the other guys..also..the other guys that ask me what price i get as stated at the printed paper. Actually i really mad at first bcoz they arguing the price that i see in the internet but after that one chinese girl took care of me with nice smile. Then the sale/purchase become smooth coz she treat me nice. Actually its simple but that one guy make it hard like FARK! thank to that chinese girl..ur sweet n nice. - END & Please cut all the BULLS**T next time when u serve the customer (to the SELLER). Business need more patience and to educate people. Not just make profite that people wont praise for it. LEARN TO RESPECT

me sad because redmi note at mudah.my stated rm599 with free gift and lot more. when i walked in rm629 and then need to buy screen protector rm 15. when i check, no charger adapter... so sad. i look around mudah rm560-600 selling got adapter... sad.gif

With directd, you better go there with complete knowledge about what you want i.e. do your own homework. Also, go armed with a copy of their pricing in facebook, lelong, mudah etc. If the sorhais at the counter say a diff price, terus show and insist they honor the prices as stated in those websites.

They're a wholesaler, not a retail outlet. The most you can do there is check quality of the phone before handing over your cash. Dun ask ask ask, try to start conversation talk about local politics all... they got no time for that. You can do that at the nearby kopitiam with those retirees sitting around, while you molest your new phone.

I go there never had any problem. That place is usually packed. So, u go only when u already made up ur mind which phone u want to purchase. Just go, say which phone, inspect the item, n pay.

If u ask macam2 they got no time to layan
