I  use stock firmware and only take less than a min no matter which USB modem on 3G or 4G

stock firmware also slow for me.. the fastest i have is from RC1 firmware...
it up less than 2 min..
but the installation process a bit tedious as it did not come with all the add on in the firmware sweat.gif

is MR3420 able to set E398 to connect to 4G only?

I wonder if the 3G/4G include GSM or not like GPRS, EDGE...

Is there a way to set it connect to 4G or 3G only? I don't want it to connect GSM automatically sometimes..

Flash it to ROOter Huntsman, you can select 3G only or 4G only ~ if your area support 4G.

Yes. But I want to use it with router. So do you mean if I set the modem to LTe only in MDMA. My settings will be saved to the modem and when I plug in to modem it will use LTe only?
