Any improvement compare to stock firmware? Maxis line much stable since 2 weeks ago.
Now Celcom (1Malaysia -Sim Card From Sabah) line not stable compare to maxis.
*
well depends though,

since i am no longer using V1 or V2, so can't tell much whether it is superb or not,.

but of course the openwrt will have some perks that stock firmware dont have notworthy.gif

Now that you've mentioned it, this may be plausible  hmm.gif

But with my e353, I did 1.5 MBps briefly last night (a few short seconds...maybe Networx delay?)  hmm.gif

chuahcs79, did you ever get > 12 Mbps with MR3420 Stock or OpenWRT?
*
i manage to get 12-15Mbps with openwrt before with v1 or v2.

yes i know its USB 2.0, but remember, every USB spec released, it needs to be backward-compatible.. even USB 1.0 device will still work with usb 3.0 port.. the difference is in the signalling, power delivery, etc..
anyone have ssd external hdd? maybe they can test the real throughput.. so as to asses whats the problem..  drool.gif  brows.gif
*
external SSD test it is great idea for sure, thumbup.gif

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

can u guys please run this command through ssh and report back the numbers thats given...

CODE

cat /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-1/speed

Ran the following command
CODE
cat /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-1/speed
...and the result: 480
1-1 means 1.1  hmm.gif
*
but so far even V2 also written as 1-1 usb device,.. never see 2-0 though yet hmm.gif

The 1-1 should just be the bus id.

If cat /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-1/version shows 2.00, then the device connected at 1-1 is a 2.0 device.

Maybe khairilyazit can reconfirm?  notworthy.gif
*
khairilyazit
yeah, can you confirm this ?

so 1-1 just the bus ID after all ? looks like it is panic attack biggrin.gif
