greetings sifus... need opinion on getting a laptop sometime this weekend:

1. Preferred Brand : Anything reputable except Lenovo (dont know why)
2. Budget : RM3k, very reluctantly up to 3300.
3. Usage : work, load server services and all.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size :12-13.3" max (unless 14" screen but 13.3" foot print)

additional preferences:
a. M processor i5 or i7, U processor i7 only, all 3rd gen, faster better.
b. memory installed not very important, preferably can go 16GB, max 8GB is acceptable
c. matte screen is a must (antiglare)
d. screen resolution 1366x768 is acceptable, higher better, FHD is best.
e. weight not more than 2kg inclusive battery, lighter better
f. optical drive not required but dosent mind.
g. windows 7 pro preferred, any other windows acceptable.
h. SSD or hybrid drive is good, normal HDD acceptable (can upgrade later)
i. discreet graphic is preferred, or intel 4000 is acceptable (need to do a bit of autoCAD).
j. freebies all not required.
k. professional: color, black, grey, white etc...

I need a lightweight laptop that has touchscreen. I dont mind using a hybrid as long as it is okay. Been looking at yoga 13 but found out a lot of people complaint about the wifi and fan noise. Can sifu list down for me those laptop with touchscreens? Thanks!

too bad msia not selling 11 inch zenbooks. the available 13 inches are quite expensive. I love the form factor, but they're either too weak (i3, HDD) or too strong (i7)

In your opinion which model would be recommended base on the models above? The samsung and asus vivobook have more or less the same specs right? As i said before i used to consider the yoga 13 but it seems that there are problems with the wifi and fan noise.

2. Around 2k, I don't mind if it's a few hundred ringgit over-budget as long as it's a good deal (got to convince my dad)
3. Digital audio workshops, moderate gaming and possibly animating in the future
4. 15.6" is preferred but 14" is alright too

It's the first time I am getting a laptop so if there is some tips you think I need to know, well... just let me know.
