my case even worse.. i sent my notebook for warranty since end of may 2011. then came back after 3 week and the problem still not solved..so sent out again. repeating this for 3 times.. then the last time sent out, no more return anymore as they claim they cant repair.. but then, whenever i ask for a solution, they told me let them try replace this part, that part..and at last told me almost everything replaced, motherboard, power adapter, power socket on the notebook etc etc, yet they still cant figure out the problem... so 'maybe' replace me another new model.. but no specify any model to replace me.. kept dragging till end of august, after i made noise, then they offer me a model which is cheaper than my notebook.. i rejected and asking for the model i want and how much to top up.. after that, waiting for another month again without any news, so i started to make noise again..
begining of Oct, my seller then suddenly told me the model i want arrived.. however, the spec is different that the model i wanted.. but no one know how much i should top up for that model which was not sold in msia.. my seller told me maybe was taiwan's spec.. due to duno how much to top up, i did not take that..wait for asus reply.. then the top up they asking for was so unreasonable.. the spec is lower than the model i want, yet i need to pay 80% for the price difference btw the model i wan compare to my notebook..., which mean less rm200 for me only.. i rejected and informed them this was not the model i want and they never discuss with me before send out that model..
middle of nov, theie region manager came to meet me and asking me for a solution.. after so many months of waiting, i told him i wanted a full refund.. he told me should not be any problem.. he will bring my decision to head office.. and should let me know the following week..i waited for almost 3 weeks, nobody call me..not even told me how was the progress already...i emailed to their region manager, all the answered i get was no news yet.. .i was so mad and made noise in their fb and email to their cs in msia and taiwan in Dec.. then on the last day of Dec my seller only told me that he just received the email from the region manager that my request of the refund is approved.. but pending for the money.. duno how long time..cos based on my seller's experience with asus, even the seller wan claim whatever payment with asus, might need wait up to 3 months till one yr.. and the region manager ask my seller to pay the money to me first, cos the cheque will go to the seller when they issue..but my seller refuse as he also know how effective asus is..
until today, my payment still no news..only got the approval code.... what a wonderful experience with them from May 2011 till today..

i complained duno how many times before.. all their reply is will submit to the relevant dept, asking for immediate action..but then, no ans still if i dun call myself.. but complaint in their fb, at least let other beware also good
