Enquiries/Recommendations ASUS Warranty, Why So Bad Service One, Anybody facing the problem like me

I've been requesting to ASUS to pick up my faulty notebook and email them at rcmy_pickup@asusmy.com.my. Since my notebook still got warranty, been email them on January 25, 2012 and got reply from them on January 26, 2012. So i already contact pickup and return service staff at 0321456787 and as per them, it will take 2 days working. So i wait until monday on January 30, 2012 and call them ask them to follow up again since my notebook still not collect yet. So as usual they still give answer that they will collect on tomorrow on January 31, 2012. But my notebook still not collect yet, until February 2, 2012 I called them why still not collect and they give answer that on February 1, 2012 is public holiday which is hari wilayah. So I ask them if on the february 1, 2012 is hari wilayah, why on the february 2 and 3 they didn't collect yet..

I'm very disappointed on how they handle this situation..any of forumer here facing the same problem? how to handle this? The last that the ASUS staff informed me they will collect my notebook next week wednesday on February 8, 2012. For me what ever they said it's like they don't want to responsible my warranty.

normally courier services is outsourced, where is your place?, go straight to their service center will be better if you are staying around kl

Well, never tried their pick up service so I can't say much but I do believe sending it to them directly if possible is the best way.

Is there a service center in Kuantan? Can't you send it directly to service center?

no bro...my friend already send to shop he bought..ended almost 4 month he get his notebook back from warranty..thats why i wanna send direct to asus centre...

Oh my gosh...I think this can be the longest warranty claiming of the year in Malaysia. Most probably they have no spare part to repair, you need to call them and ask for the progress, if possible, ask them to change a different working parts.

What happen to my cousin was his 14 inch Asus sent in for warranty, parts keep delaying till nearly 3 months. His mum called up and screwed them to the max, and even went to the shop they bought the notebook..

In the end, Asus replace a "refurbished" 15 inch Asus to him..

DAMMIT...i also had problem....near a month ledy send warranty...
I take a couse in programming and need my laptop so bad to do coding and stuff..

really sux bad...when i had a dell..it takes 3 days to repair my laptop

now i understand the situation...which meant asus warranty is the suckist ever...the last i get from the asus technicion...the courier got overload of pickup service for this asus notebook...

If you area not has a servics center, need send to KL repair. please don't buy this brand, if you can't waiting longer.

Asus pick-up servics just fast for 'pick-up'. return back and repair. much waiting 2-weeks and more. if the MB, harddisk, higher price part spoil, you need waiting minimum one-two month.

so, for asus pick-up servics, that a normal time.

before I already post many about warranty issue.

if you can't be waiting repair, don't buy not servics center you area brand.

pick-up servics that a very stupid mentod, I Already tell many time. why not user trust me ? exp much Tell you !

P/S: please complain to sell for you computer shop. give her the code, and everyday call her, if her help you direct call to KL asus, may can help you faster your warranty. enduser direct call, not more use.

my case even worse.. i sent my notebook for warranty since end of may 2011. then came back after 3 week and the problem still not solved..so sent out again. repeating this for 3 times.. then the last time sent out, no more return anymore as they claim they cant repair.. but then, whenever i ask for a solution, they told me let them try replace this part, that part..and at last told me almost everything replaced, motherboard, power adapter, power socket on the notebook etc etc, yet they still cant figure out the problem... so 'maybe' replace me another new model.. but no specify any model to replace me.. kept dragging till end of august, after i made noise, then they offer me a model which is cheaper than my notebook.. i rejected and asking for the model i want and how much to top up.. after that, waiting for another month again without any news, so i started to make noise again..

begining of Oct, my seller then suddenly told me the model i want arrived.. however, the spec is different that the model i wanted.. but no one know how much i should top up for that model which was not sold in msia.. my seller told me maybe was taiwan's spec.. due to duno how much to top up, i did not take that..wait for asus reply.. then the top up they asking for was so unreasonable.. the spec is lower than the model i want, yet i need to pay 80% for the price difference btw the model i wan compare to my notebook..., which mean less rm200 for me only.. i rejected and informed them this was not the model i want and they never discuss with me before send out that model..

middle of nov, theie region manager came to meet me and asking me for a solution.. after so many months of waiting, i told him i wanted a full refund.. he told me should not be any problem.. he will bring my decision to head office.. and should let me know the following week..i waited for almost 3 weeks, nobody call me..not even told me how was the progress already...i emailed to their region manager, all the answered i get was no news yet.. .i was so mad and made noise in their fb and email to their cs in msia and taiwan in Dec.. then on the last day of Dec my seller only told me that he just received the email from the region manager that my request of the refund is approved.. but pending for the money.. duno how long time..cos based on my seller's experience with asus, even the seller wan claim whatever payment with asus, might need wait up to 3 months till one yr.. and the region manager ask my seller to pay the money to me first, cos the cheque will go to the seller when they issue..but my seller refuse as he also know how effective asus is..

until today, my payment still no news..only got the approval code.... what a wonderful experience with them from May 2011 till today.. mad.gif

i complained duno how many times before.. all their reply is will submit to the relevant dept, asking for immediate action..but then, no ans still if i dun call myself.. but complaint in their fb, at least let other beware also good blush.gif

i think u should call them more often..if u got their technician dept's tel or any manager's contact, better call also..or else like me that time, will never receive any news if i din called myself.. blush.gif i even scold their region manager that time..he told me one thing make me fire up.. he said "whatever asus offer, just accept it..even spec lower also nvm..can use enuff." I scold back to him saying i am using my money to buy your product, not u free it to me.. of cos i wan something worth with the money spent.. and don fool on me saying the GPU or CPU is nth..i am not a computer noob...then he kept quiet.. mad.gif

i will start made noise again soon..already wait for 1 month+ since i have been told the approval code of my refund.. mad.gif

made few complaints in their fb already, the only reply is will informed the dept in charged and look into my problem immediately.. but then, no news also after that.. sad.gif
