yea, agree on that.. lol
AMOLED's problem is consuming a lot more power then typical TFT when displaying all white, and also bad performance under sunlight, but the latter has been improve a lot, and hence i would say AMOLED is not bad now..

btw, i think junsheng said something about AMOLED will in the end consume more power, but android system is dark themed since gingerbread, because it is optimized for AMOLED, and typically AMOLED displaying dark themed color, even grey, is a lot lower then AMOLED, so if you're talking about AMOLED on android, it does save more power compared to a typical backlit screen

I never said deeper black is not good, but if over it is not good.

Black crushing in AMOLED is common issue since day it born. AMOLED is not as perfect as you think.

i never said it was perfect nor implied it was. AMOLED is known for its amazing deep blacks because there is no lighting up of its pixels (IIRC). what is black crush? if its meant to be black, it shows black. it has contrast problems gamma problems etc etc...

ts, I would be very happy if you can enlighten me which current phone model (from any manufacturer) has an official kernel that supports multi-boot if that is what you mean.

Black crush was not word term use by me, it has been discuss since long ago, people using that wording to describe AMOLED black display issue.

Note II is much fragile than Note I.

If you are ganas, no Samsung phone is worth for you as Samsung phone was fragile especially recent release S III and Note II.

Get Nokia Lumia 920 instead, it was tough enough for ganas people.

This is a thread where ppl cannot accept the flaws of Xperia series and takes the good stuff of other models and turn it into flaws so Xperia Z will look flawless .
