No. Confirm both 5 inch. Just the Xperia ZL size make the screen look like smaller.
Ya one is waterproof another are not but got infrared ray.
Time announce will be Tuesday live on 9 am.

The ZL, while having a smaller footprint, it's thicker. Z most likely bigger for being waterproof with the extra port flaps and what not. Both have 5" screen.
