I've been testing the n66u with astro iptv for the past 3 months, speed and performance is good for networking connectivity but recently had some problems with the IPTV.

Changing channels is becoming very slow and unresponsive. Had to revert back to the thomsom box temporarily while i check it out. Are you guys having any issues like this over at your labs?

Hi coOLR3xz,

Try set the Control Channel on the Wireless section to a value, the default is Auto.

Thank you

Hi bansai,

Can help check the IP address of the STB box from ASTRO for the IP Diagnostics.

And is there something wrong with the value/IP address there?

Thank you

Hi andyliew97,

May I know what is your current firmware version on the DSL-N12U?

The latest one is 1.0.4.1. Below is the to download the firmware.

http://www.asus.com/Networking/DSLN12U_B1/...ort_Download_29

If it is the latest already, try do a factory reset and redo all the setting see is the problem still exist or not.

Thank you

Hi khyuen,

Yes, it support VOIP. Try connect your Maxis router to the LAN port 3 of RT-N12 D1.

ASUS VOIP are fixed at LAN port 3 and IPTV are at LAN port 4.

Thank you

Hi digilife,

It seen like we don't have any new firmware for RT-N13U B1. The newest one is 2.0.2.5o. Below is the link.

Hi Nando's,

Currently we don't have a router that have phone port that can support VOIP or Fax alone.

You will still need the Maxis router for the VIOP. If you are using our router, LAN port 3 will the port for the VIOP to connect to the Maxis router.

Thank you

Hi leoling92,

You can refer to http://event.asus.com/2009/networks/3gsupport/ for the 3G/4G support list.

But we have some user reported that they able to use E398 on RT-N16 and RT-N56U.

Thank you
