i am currently using ea-n66 as my pc wireless adapter aka repeater in my room. but then is it anyway to access my router setup through ea-n66 instead of only access to ea-n66 setup?

yesterday when i update my firmware to the latest firmware according to the asus official website, after updated all my devices fail to connect to my rt n66u. the router 2.4 and 5 band led light no longer light up.
then i connect it through cable but it showed up unidentified network and fail to access to the router web gui. and now i have no idea to go though the setting to setup.
i had run a trouble shooting, it said the etherner doesnt have a valid IP configuration. HOW CAN I FIX THIS??

May i know why my Galaxy S4 keep dropping connection from the RT-N66u then connected back in few seconds, i had updated to the latest firmware too.

I Have other device which has no problem with it
previously i am using WPA, recently changed to wpa2 but the problems still occur.
both band also has the same drop connection problem

i had tried to download things by the rt n66u with the download master but i am facing this problem.

i bought a 32GB drive which has 29GB~ free space and then i downloaded a 28GB data, it success. then i copy out all the file and make the drive free again. when the 2nd time download, the router will detect my drive is full and stop downloading. i tried to format the drive and reinstall the download master and then the same problem still exist. Any solution for this?

yea, is the latest firmware and i did safely remove it before unplug the drive.

but i think i know whats the problem.
the download master will pre-detect the download size and it know the drive capacity is not enough for the download file size then it treat it as diskfull? as my 2nd download file is slightly exceed the drive capacity when the downloadmaster apps is in the drive.

so it means it will stop downloading instead of continue to download the data until it is "really" full capacity?
is this true?

recently bought USB-N13 B1 (Broadcom) - RM79
but i have some problem here
i get 0.7mbps instead of 10mbps from maxis fibre router
its not too far from the router within 10meter but with few walls
but the other dell laptop and iphone 5s can get around 7~8mbps at the same location area
The USB-N13 B1 get around 0.7mbps with ping within 9~12ms
what is the problem with it?
using WPA2 + AES security.
i used to reach 5 mbps previously but then it started to keep dc then the speed reduce significantly

or anyone know what is the problem?

the transfer speed is really not stable at all, is it normal?
i have one pc at 2nd floor with 5ghz, another pc 2.4ghz at the same room with the router at ground floor. the speed between the 2 pc get the same FTP speed. any solution to improve the performance?

ya try on another 1TB external HDD
i am not often uploading coz i usually downloading through the download master and download it from the HDD
the 2nd floor 5ghz DL speed is within at 1mb/s - 6mb/s, average is around 2.X mb/s; the 2.4ghz band is within 3mb/s-5mb/s

i wonder why with my pc using ea-n66 can only stream movie from ftp server with rt-n66 under 1.2mb/s, but with the same location my samsung galaxy could stream with a speed around 2mb/s
why pc speed cant reach the local streaming speed of smartphone?

I am using Rt ac68u. I have this problem.

after the latest update, my pc keep disconnect from gui and couldnt reconnect. other device also cant connect after the disconnect issue. everytime i need to manually restart to gain access back to the gui and its annoying.

please do update the firmware and fix this problem. thanks.
