Guys, will head up to Lowyat Plaza today to buy a replacement router for my UniFi.

FYI, I am using L7-N-R2000, and it sucks.
All I need is easy to use(Plug > Few settings > Play), and QoS to limit P2P download. I can't even load a Youtube video right now.  mad.gif
Budget, the cheaper the better.

Hi WiLeKiyO,

You can have a look on these few units
RT-N15U - RM199
RT-N14U - RM185
RT-N12HP - RM229
RT-N12 D1 - RM139

All this can support UNIFI.

Thank you

Hi seng83,

If your router already flashed with the latest firmware 3.0.0.4.374.239, try do a factory reset on the RT-N56U.

And redo the setting see it helps or not.

Thank you

Hi seng83,

At the back of the router near the USB, there is a button. That will be the reset/restore button.

Press the button for 5 sec or more, the Power LED light will blink, once blinked, release the button and it will start restoring the router.

Remember to back up your setting because after factory reset, you will need to redo all the setting again.

Thank you

Hi seng83,

Try power off and on again if it is still same, then it might be something wrong with the router already.

Thank you

seems like the latest firmware for RT-N66U + RT-N12 fixed some wifi bug , the IP add is duplicating on iPad with RT-N12. Earlier i thought my setting went wrong .... tongue.gif

Hi AsusMY - on the NT12HP, I've configured it to use unifi using QIS. So I guess all the VLAN settings have been done. However, where in the menu do I configure VLAN manually ? Looked around but can't seem to find it.

Im one using this setup... asrock z87 ex6 + pce-ac66 ... its true... lockup do occur during installation....my solution is to install the driver only first....once everthing configured, install the bundled software. It's running flawlessly since then. using win7 x64 sp1. but that's using onchip gfx...while using discreete gfx, no boot lockup, no hang, no bsod ever happen.
