Hi Nando's,

External Antenna may have better coverage depend on what type of antenna they use.

And as for RT-N15U and RT-N14U.

RT-N14U is newer model and has extra feature compare to RT-N15U.

RT-N14U don't have repeater function but RT-N15U got.

You can refer to below link for more details.

http://www.asus.com/Networking/RTN15U/#overview

Thank you

Hi Nando's,

If you like features more then you can go for RT-N14U. It has a feature called AICloud. Below is the link regarding the AICloud.

http://event.asus.com/2012/nw/aicloud/

If you like stability, RT-N15U may be a little better compare to RT-N14U and this model are come with Gigabyte LAN.

Thank you

Hi th3.h04rd3r,

The replacement sometime is fast but sometime is long also, and I think this also apply to other brands.

And Low Yat Plaze service center only accept notebook, tablet, EEEPC, and LCD monitor. All the networking and DIY component are to send back to the place you bought.

Thank you

Hi,

It's been three weeks and still no news on my RT-N66U that was sent in after it died on me.
Is that normal?
Thanks.

Hello ASUSmy,

I have recently purchased ASUS PCIE-AC66 with my Maximus Hero. I have massive Windows boot up issues and I checked online it seems the PCIE card is not compatible with Z87 motherboard.

I quote from Newegg,

Unfortunately, we have discovered some incompatibility with the current chipset of the PCIE-AC66 and Z87 motherboards. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We are taking steps to fix this issue so please contact me for further details so that we can help resolve your issue. You can reach me at cl-jeremy@asus.com if you still have the card and are experiencing problems with it.

Regards,
Jeremy
ASUS Customer Loyalty

Is there anything I can do about it? If it is a hardware issue, does this mean that I can not use my PCIE card with my motherboard? Can I have refund or so?

Hi jhong,

May I know what kind of problem that you are facing while doing the setup?

Try update the firmware to the latest. Not sure which hardware version your router is, you can check at the label on the router or the box with the word "H/W".

RT-N10+ D1

And here is the link you refer to do the repeater setup.

Hi jhong,

If you have set it at the first time, maybe the IP address is not the same already. You can install the utility in the CD that come together with the ASUS router. After install, there is a program called "Device Discovery".

You can use this to detect/discover the ASUS router.

Thank you

Hi muhiann,

Do you mind sending me the general log file if you still able to access to the router when the hang happen and together with the configuration file also. And may I know what device that you plug in on the USB and the LAN port if you have any.

I will PM you my e-mail address.

Thank you

Hi chester2007,

It is faster and safer if you download the firmware first and update the firmware by choosing the file.

Remember to unzip it first as it is downloaded as a zip file.

Here is the link. The newest firmware now is 3.0.0.4.372.1393
