Usually you don't have to, I didn't with any of my share accounts.
Accounts are tied to the system, not the HDD.

But just de-activate and re-activate just in case.

haha ok problem solve,, i need to connect through another router (it was streamyx router ), then finally my ps3 can detect network via wired connection. Lazy to find new router.. so i re-use streamyx default router.

unifi router ---> streamyx router ---> ps3

connection is stable than wifi..

anyway thanks bro..

One easy way is check money currency in PSN store, example RM is Malaysia account (R3); USD is US account (R1) and so on.

Another way is check country registered in account.

I have a 1TB personally and I think it is the limit the PS3 will be able to handle, for now. Theoretically, the PS3 can handle 4TB HDDs as that is the limit for FAT32, but we don't have 4TB HDDs in 2.5" form so that point is moot.
Sony of course never made any official claims that 1TB is the limit. They've kept "increasing" that limit through firmwares in the past silently.

I remember that was a time back in 2007 when the PS3 first launched and some people did try to jam a 320GB HDD into it and the PS3 didn't really work with the HDD.

Yes and no.
There are quite a few games actually do require you to re-activate them again even though they are on the same system.

Most games do not need to be re-activated. Something Sony doesn't want to make clear.

i dont think it has a significant effect. maybe cut a few seconds off of loading time. the extra heat generated off the drive might not be worth it though.

Is your PS3 quite far from the router?
Your router is D-Link DIR615?

Try wired connection for your PS3. I think this may solve your problem.
