if you got it from sony in singapore then yeah it would be. if you got it off just some shop in lowyat or other place, they hopefully will help you send the set to SG. some shops used to do that. maybe its just the HDD crashing...

Here the tutorial for download PS3 online content via PC.
http://www.thesmackdownhotel.com/forum/top...o-ps3-tutorial/

Remark: I never use this method before, I don't know still working or not. I read this content quite long time ago and bookmark it for future use (in case), you can test it now, if working, let us know, it might useful for those do not have fast internet connection or do not want wait PS3 download huge patch file (can't download background).

dude. tried it out and it works good. took me only about an hour and a half to download 110 mb file for wipeouthd. whereas before, for 20 min only got 1% on my ps3. lifesaver. thanks for the website again. searched around and it linked to this site which has the newer version on the stuff.

i dont think it has a significant effect. maybe cut a few seconds off of loading time. the extra heat generated off the drive might not be worth it though.

yes...ur correct...i register under malaysia address...so i need to create 1 more account or just edit the current one?....so in the future, do i really need to switch (region) only to play other games that state other than R2?.....
*
you need a new account. once you created the malaysia account, that is locked to malaysia. you need a completely seperate R2 account. i just grab addresses of hotels in the UK to set it up.

weird. maybe ur ps3 had some lag during the action scene and the signal for shock was delayed due to that or something.
