Yup, definitely UR bar is good investment for our City.
I installed mine - 4 bars. Front strut bar, front lower bar 2 point & 4 points, and rear anti-roll bar.
Your steering will become more stiffer which will gv u better driving feeling, cornering more stable and high speed in highway won't feel much like driving a boat. biggrin.gif
Btw, if wan better stability feel...best is change ur tyre to wider profile. 175 & 185 is too ... blink.gif

Thanks bro. I'll look into this one.

Weird that the SC say need to change rear one. Usually the wear and tear one is brakepad right? not brake disc?

btw bro you mention before RM700 for Brembo + bestop, is it for front only?

Thanks  notworthy.gif

yea bro. front only. I never touch belakang. no need la. leave it stock.

Mate, UR bar give much effect to the handling? I already autofoamed my car though. Does it improve stability when doing high speed cruising as well?
*
hmm...autoform basically give u the heavy feel and reduce the noise from outside...its different...whereas UR bars gives stability by proving extra strength to ur chasis...

Autoform is like stiffring but apparently its better....i got stiffring d...when i was at KL AUTO to get my LCP from Desmond he said remove stiffring and put Auto form...but after hearing the full package price my pants wana drop d...hahaha blink.gif

Ah.. damn you all poisoning me. Haha. Which bar will give the most impact on stability? Want to confirm first.

1. Strut bar - this one on front attached to the suspension mount?
2. lower bar 2 point/4 point - not sure about this, bottom of car?
3. rear anti-roll bar - attach where?

I already have autofoam comfort package, helps on the handling a bit. I don't want the car to ends up like a track car if I install all of the 4 bar. sweat.gif

Do you feel any different in terms of pickup or top speed after changing to LCP? It does feel a lot lighter compared to the stock CP.

Do the comfort first la, but you got stiffring, and 4 bars already.. haha. Go do some sound proofing mods next tongue.gif

yea DEsmond from KL auto did poison me like crazy...lucky i got the cheaper option(but that is when i didnt know about autoform) which the stiff ring IF not GONE la!! sure habis all on autoform....bro which package u go for? the Full package? wher u got it done?..price? haha

As for the UR bars...the most useful ones are the Lower front 2point...lower front 4point...and Rear anti Roll bar(attach connecting both rear springs) other than that not so useful....like the front tower bar...its suppose to attach to the front absorber mounting but UR didnt design it like that hence its not that useful but i also installed coz i dono other brand which can do the job...

As for the LCP case...i got a good brand called mythelogy dampered ...i must admit its good...lighter response...better FC...top speed havent try...pickup definetely better...uphill better...u can consider...but it cost a hole in ur pocket....if u got for other brand which is not dampered then it might give u probs...dats wat i read from forum after forums...u try do ur research and see

Check here http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc....65r15-195-60r15

195/60/15 is better since it is closer to the stock tire size so the your speedometer doesn't out of sync too much. Not sure if it will fit with the stock tyre or not as I'm using the 16" tire.

I heard Michelin is a good brand, quiet and more comfortable from the stock tire. Price should be around RM250/piece I think.

Wait for other members to give feedback as well.

I only go for comfort bro, gile the full package is over 2k. Haha. Done at KL Auto as well, he poison a lot of stuff but luckily I survived tongue.gif

I see, thanks for the info on UR bar. I will put it in my list of upgrades.

I heard about the Mythology brand before few years ago. Haven't consider it yet since some said it effect the car top end for some reason. A bit expensive too right?

I need to replace my air filter first before my next service. Need to sort out my priorities. Aih too many poison already. Haha.

no worries bro...we here to share experience....the UR bars are indeed helpful..do it slowly like me....so u can feel the difference bit by bit and then only feel syok!....go for Rear anti roll bar 1st..that has the most effect...

Well im not too sure about the top speed after changing to mythelogy dampered but it does give a noticable effect in pickup, FC..not to promote them(dont get paid anyways) but top speed is something u push when on highways yea? like when going bak hometown...so we dont always push that during city drives, thats when where we use our car most...so to me is a reasonable upgrade...have to give and take..my foremen said to me...cant have all the best things..

the Drop in Air filter and plugs are the 1st thing u have to do bro...other can wait coz that are the most essential changes...

Nothing really fancy, just better to keep the difference as low as possible from the stock tire so it doesn't affect the speedometer and probably the FC calculation on the dashboard panel (I think!) too much. tongue.gif not an expert so I can't comment much. Haha.

Oh I didn't replace the stock air filter since I don't want to waste it. Wait until its due for replacement then I'll change the filter to K&N drop in. Spark plugs too biggrin.gif

Haha sure, after air filter I'm replacing the tire first. Switching to 15" instead of 16". tongue.gif

To be honest I have no faith in groupon deals. If you want affordable sound proofing just look for Sh@rty 5

Yeah comfort and price. Haha. How's XM2? Using 15" as well?

I'm looking at 205/55/R15 or 195/60/R15 now.. not sure which one to go yet.
