Just got my cards biggrin.gif (after nearly 1 month)

Been reading the last thread and Gen-X's blog and to make very sure :

1) I should use the AMEX card as much as I can ? (over Mastercard ?)
2) Hold big purchases till weekends ?

For me, yup, just use AMEX card, if they don't accept only present others.

5X Treatpoints, extra 5% rebate on weekend.

I wonder why my application is rejected. This is the second time my application got rejected. My Annual Basic Salary is RM30000. If plus Fixed Allowance it will be RM54000. I already have 1 CC from CIMB with Credit Limit RM10K. Anyone knew what other possible reason to get rejected?

Hey I got 265k treat points now. Was wondering what should I exchange for, something worthy of the points.

These are the items around my points, is Jorg Gray a good brand for watches?

OR should I wait for 376000 points for a samsung galaxy S3? Kinda want to get the phone tongue.gif

IMHO, change to shopping vouchers is more flexible
At Harvey Norman, you can redeem vouchers worth RM1350 (RM50 = 9700 TP)
At Parkson, you can redeem vouchers worth RM1400 (RM50 = 9300 TP)
At Robinsons, you can redeem vouchers worth RM1450 (RM50 = 9000 TP)
You can also get RM1365 worth of Carrefour Gift Card (RM105 = 20000 TP)

Depends on where you go shopping most often.

duckhole, if you really really need to have the S3 now, I will go with ronnie's and snigapoe's combination:

1. redeem RM1,350 Harvey Norman cash vouchers or maybe Courts or Carrefour or whatever merchant that is convenient to you.
2. use it to get the S3 now by topping up the difference.
3. Of course purchase it on a Saturday or Sunday and get 5X TP PLUS 5% cash back tongue.gif

The only set back is that the S3 price might have dropped by the time you reach 365K. but then again, maybe can also S4 for the same number of treats points tongue.gif
